It's all for the sake of gender-identification, I really don't see why this would bother anyone. Anyhoo, it's a long-standing club rule and is to be obeyed, 'kay?

Yes, but don't take too long.

10. Final... Fantasy? (not technically anime)

Actually you're wrong there. There is a Final Fantasy
Anime. It just doesn't tie into any of the games.

There's also Final Fantasy 7: Last Order as an anime. It went along with Advent Children.

News to me. Graphics wise it looks pretty good. I think I'll have to obtain that some how.

I'm surprised, I thought I was one of the very few people that actually read novels, (minus the book club). Good to know. When it comes to the Novel, the movie, and the manga, I rank them like this...

1. Manga (My reason is that it fills in the gaps of almost everything the creator wanted to add in, and it's great artwork helped the story, for real, some of the best artword I've seen in a manga since Sanctuary.)
2. The Novel (Definetely a classic. Something I'd read again on a long road trip or bus ride. When I first bought this book, I read it whenever I could.)
3. The Movie (I have nothing against the movie, although I feel as though they messed up a bit much. It was a great adaptation, but I can understand the fact that they needed to introduce it in a way where people that hadn't read to manga or novel could understand it better.)

I've seen part two as well to that movie. It's basically a kick the nuts of Bush and the Iraq war. The beginning of part two will kind've get to you, it'll remind you of 9/11 kind've.

Course I still read novels, I love reading them but my rank of the novel, manga and movie is alittle different then yours.

1.Novel: it goes into so much detail and makes you feel like you know all of the 32(not sure on that exactly) charecters in it not to metion the Author was an absolute geinous.

2Manga: I felt like it strayed from the story line a little too much exspecially in volume 3 when it explains all of Mitskua's quirks and whatnot I didn't expect a hentai and was reading it my parents in the same room >.< .

3. Movie: It wasn't what I thought it would be, strayed waaaaay too far from the story line and some of the charecters didn't act like they should have but there was one cute part in it, when the women is explaining the rules of the game to them on the T.V I just thought it was hilarous and the facial expressions she used were well... cute.

So, Anime club is starting up next week at my school. my friend is going to be the new president, and hes got some big plans. Like making and selling our own comic to raise money, once a month cosplay day, also to raise money, and going to anime boston. wheeee! awesome! yeeeeeah! *super excited because all we did was watch it last year.*

Response to Anime Club 2006-09-14 16:50:17

Sooooooooooooooooooo! There is another female who has signed up. Alright! Not afraid to show your true colors either. You go girl!!

Anyways, I think that's awsome that an anime club is starting up at your school. My school that I recently graduated from didn't have anything like that. It was more on the governmental then anything else which I found really sucked. I don't have anything about the government but for heaven's sake be original!! Uh...sorry I was going balistic here.

Yhea I've got a anime club at my school too. last year we had about 20 people and thats alot because we're a voch school so there are only like 100 people a grade. I couldn't go much cause of drama though. The only things I remember is Advent childeren, gravatron, and someone bringing in halo 2. not very animey.

<old-man ranting>
Back in my day, youngling, if you admitted your were an anime fan at school, you got stuffed in a locker. We never had no fancy clubs or cosplay day jibba-jabba, and we certainly didn't have no trips to Boston!!!
</old-man ranting>
Excellent! Making comics is a good way to raise funds(I've had positive experiences selling mine in the past) and a possible try to Anime-Boston? That is just too damn cool...

I remember back when I went to high school. I was always the man with the manga. And some people would run up and ask me "Is there any nudity in it?" I was the smart, I only brought T Rated books to schoo (Minus Psychic Academy) something along the lines of Mars. I'd hand them the manga and ask them "Do you see any titties?" Then they just walk away. Try that.

I've gone through that Hell, I brought the first volume of Ranma 1/2 to school in eight grade and it was passed around the class for hours. People were nothing short of astounded by the nudity....a friend remined me of this incident today at lunch after he noticed I had the book in my courier bag at the time. Fucking stupid kids...

We'll if you're making a higher grade than him in that class you can just he doesn't know what he's talking about, that he's a fucking moron as you smile at him and turn away. Yeah, if you can slip something about his failing grades in said class and the manga in turn you'll be fine. "You don't know what you're talking about, just like with this subject which you also know nothing about."

Pictures are a bit grainy and your alias font colour doesn't fit the rest of the sigs white colour.

I remember having a friend like that in high school, except nobody was stupid enough to mess with him because he knew Aikido. He let me borrow his Shonen Jump in English class, and his little brother was my lab partner in Physics.

Damn it, I'm getting pissed! All I want from Netflix right now is the last volume of Cyber City and it still says "short wait".

So, does anybody here know if the Berserk manga is even relatively close to being finished? That's like the only manga in which I'm currently interested, and they haven't even released all of the volumes!

1. Dragon Ball
2. Ranma 1/2
3. Love Hina
4. Golden Boy
5. Azumanga Daioh
6. Green Green
7. Chobits
8. Mahoromatic
9. Full Metal Alchemist
10. Genshiken

I would like to be represented as Kimura-sensei from Azumanga Daioh.

Yes that's right some girls like anime. I am a girl and I like it. Actually wait let me correct myself I love anime. I'm not afraid to show my true colors. That's what makes us individuals. People who are themselves and not everyone else. I figure if people have a problem with me liking anime then they can go suck themselves somewhere. I'm me and if you like me then that's great and if you don't then that's good to because nine out of ten times I don't like you either. That's just the way it is.

Oh, and I'm not sure how to make who said what faded like so just go with the flow here.
