Ironically, that's one of the things that got edited: the hanging(s). I stopped watching when it went to Toonami (hell, I stopped watching Toonami for various reasons).

Sorry 2 double post but.... Mononoke is one of my favorite animes of all time, and im also a huge fan of Miyazaki's work. I luv his other movie "Spirited Away".

Did anyone watch month of miyazaki on tonami??? if not, amazingly it was un-cut. That arm seen Shown in Dr.'s post was still in there, and never would have been in any toonami anime.

Well i went ahead and watched Saber Marionette J and J to X and i can say is that it's a decent anime to watch. I would recomend it. ...... just don't watch episode 15 of the J series. It has absolutly NOTHING to do with the story.

I tried create my own manga for awhile until I realized that have no talent (when it comes to drawing manga anyway).

Lets see, I suppose I should list a bit about my history with Anime.

Well I suppose my favorite series will always be the very first one I saw.

It was 1998 I was 8 yrs old, the series.... Well it should be obvious giving the time, Pokemon.

I dont watch the series any more, but it will always have a place in my heart as the very first Anime i ever watched.

By the time i was 11 I was watching, DBZ, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bepop, Yu Yu Hakusho, and many others I vaguely remember.

by 12, I was reading a ton of different manga series (my favorite now is Love Hina, such a good story). I never bought them though, I just read them all at barnes and noble over a nice rasberry italian soda with cream (i still do things the same way, im cheap so sue me).

My first Videogame is still my favorite game in my favorite series, Final Fantasy VIII.
Alot of people dont like FFVIII, they say its the worst in the series but I think its the best.
It had such a wonderful love story, it made me cry (FFVII made me cry to).
I love romance, the passion, the love, the hope. I wish more games had a good romantic plot, most of the games that claim to have romantic elements just have perverted humor and inuendos.
I want an actual romantic plotline, people these days seem to think the only purpose of love is sex. It sickens me, its an insult to art and my intelligence.

Any way enough ranting.

5 years ago, when I was 13, I bought my first Dragonball manga, but I watched anime the time sailormoon came out here (yes, SAILORMOON, now I said it) and that was like 11 years ago.

when I was 5 years old, back when I didn't even know it was called anime, i would go to mexico every summer and they had tons of anime, saint seiya, magic knight rayearth, sailor moon, dragon ball, this one giant robot anime and this one anime about a girl with a animal like boy who would turn into this badass warrior when ever the girl was in trouble. good times!

I was about 5 as well. 4 or 5 years later, I finally realized it was called Anime.

I was like 3 when I started watching anime, and I start drawing when I was 8.

Is anyone here following the current anime season?

I'm currently watching Muteki Kanban Musume and Powerpuff Girls Z (I'm curious on how this anime will do)

I finished watching the Japanese version of Princess Mononoke. It had some small differences, just a few changed lines of dialogue. The English version had billy bob thorton's voice, but the Japanese version had a man's voice for Moro and i prefered her with a woman's voice, so they are about even.

I started watching anime about 6 years ago so I was 7 roughly, Sailor Moon was the first anime I had ever seen and I didn't know it was anime same with DBZ which I would watch back then. When I was nine my Dad showed me Macross Plus and thats when I started "getting into" anime and watching alot of it.
