Hentai isnt technichaly anime, although it uses anime drawings within it. you can base it on manga if you wish... theres sci-fi, comedy, romance, action, and then... hentai. a manga is a manga, but an action is a Action manga. just like an anime is an anime, but hentai is hentai-anime.

Rape it savagely and leave it to die in a gutter. That or localize it to the point were every element of "questionable content" or "general Japanese-ness" is removed and take all the emotion out of the characters with atrocious voice acting. Whatever they do, ti won't turn out good.

Yeh, but for those who have never seen the japanese version or see much anime, then they don't know that it is bad sometimes. Some people may not like it, and the voices may be one reason....but then there are some who like it and want to see more of it. My friend started watching it on CN, and really liked it, so i lent him the japanese episodes i have....and he doesn't really care about the different voices.

Speaking of english vs japanese voices, im trying to get the Japanese version of Princess Mononoke with english subs, since i hear that it is a little better and the voice actors were more into it.

I also saw Donnie Darko for the first time today...not really anime related...but it;s been mentioned here a few times before.

The Naruto anime isn't licenced by 4Kids, It's licenced by Viz. And I have to agree with you. I don't really like the "Believe It!" catchphrase they gave Naruto in the dub. I used to watch the dubbed version of Naruto but I stopped watching it and now I'm watching the original subbed version.

Oh yeah... whoops. I still wanna know where Believe it came from, although inmore current episodes, naruto pretty much stopped saying it.
