I'm pretty dang sure they still count as anime, they have just been editted quite harshly in America. :o

Perfectly good? I read the preview in Shonen Jump magazine and it was f***ed up in that too. I'm pretty sure Bo-Bo-Bo Bo Bo Bo-Bo is just an attempt at randomness and, like FLCL, could mess with your head if you actually try to make sense of it.

Yes, they are anime and so is Digimon. A lot of us just hate them.

I'm surprised that Naruto hasn't been canceled from CN. I was sure that it would be cancled after a few episodes because there are so many bad references and scenes in that show. It's an awesome show, but there are so many psyco parents out there.
Naruto is great! I wish I can watch the whole thing... but it's too long..

Theres clearly a message about the transition from childhood/teens to adulthood and maturity. Its also a story about first loves, the responsibility adults put on children and expections from them and intimidation from things. Tied in with a original art style plus you could say a fairy tailish type storyline.

Probably because of the manga-style scenes, the mecha coming out of Naota's head, and the fact that they never defined the term "Fooly Cooly".

It is completely normal apart from all that yes, isn't fooly cooly something to do with sex?

It might be... Naota's dad is always asking Naota what fool cooly means...

It isnt that bad if you watch it a few times....and maybe with the commentary on.
Basically Haruko is a space police officer after Atomisk's power. Medical Mechanica is trying to "flatten" the worlds...with gian irons. Naota's portal opens to medical mechanica and lets out its robots, which end up using the iron-like base. Oh, and the eyebrows guy likes Haruko and use to be with her, but since she is an alien he has to go against her. And her bracelet resonates with Atomisks nose ring.
That is some part of what is happening (maybe)...but who really cares the plot. It looks sweet, is fun to watch, and has great music. Basically there are lots of sexual innuendos, like the "big" guitar and the nose bleeds.
I just like it cause its funny as hell. I wish there were more episodes instead of the just plain 6 of them.

Oh my goodness, it is a great movie. No, it is not in English unless you mean English subtitles though. But it is a very good movie, you have to watch it more than once to full grasp it and appreciate the greatness that is G.I.T.S. You might want to rent it first before you buy it unless you are a bit more hard core than the mild G.I.T.S. fan. I can say though that it is one of the few anime series that the dubed version is one of the best.

Yeah, good for you but not for me. I was up, waiting for it to come on watching Gundam SEED and at about 5 minutes till I fell asleep. Oh boy was I pissed. Having a crap day at work coming home to more crap just made it one big pile of crap. But hey, atleast I'll get to watch FMA, Samurai Champloo, G.I.T.S: S.A.C season 2, s-CRY-ed and more anime goodness. So I guess it pans out. :/

Oh damn, talk about a great game on any platform. That is probably the best out of all the Gundam games I have played so far. I haven't gotten to play the new one with the MSs' from Zeta Gundam yet or G.B.A III either.

Bobobo is still shit. I'm sorry there is no way around it.

You know, I might be talking crazy right now but I'll try and update the members list. I have monday off from work (hopefully we won't be short handed, like every day) and I'll get it done in that period of time. I'm sure some of it needs new members and old ones erased.

I refuse to allow you to say that Innocence was a great movie, at least without putting up some sort of resistance. It was a total sham compared to the well crafted and UNDERSTANDABLE GITS:SAC series. Most convoluted anime ever, worse than EoE! I mean what the hell was the mansion seen about? Where the hell did that battleship come from? And there was not nearly enough Kusanagi! The only seen I enjoyed was Batou taking out the Yakuza HQ out single handedly. Other wise I would have rather been forced to watch the original GITS movie dubbed in ebonics, at least that would have been enteraining.
I was going through my friend's trunk a long time ago and had found a lot of old school anime. The Blade of Kamui being one of them. A great story, there was almost a hidden love issue for brother and sister going on, but they found out that they were related and the sister got killed soon after sadly. A good old school anime.

Well I saw the first two episodes of Bleach just now. It is pretty cool, and since i just finished Hunter X Hunter and its OVAS, i guess I'll start watching it.
I saw this really old anime a while back, I forget what it was called but it was pretty cool, it was set in a post apocoliptic wasteland with this poisenous forrest that kept spreadig and killing everybody, anybody know what it was called?

gotta love those old-school animes.....such classics in an anime. They (hopefully) will always remembered as good anime not some crappy ass ones(bobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobob
