Well then you guys can celebrate SIMPLE PI APPROXIMATION DAY on July 22nd.

One thing I've noticed about dates is that the day/month/year format is that it makes a lot more sense from an organizational standpoint. I can't think of any examples, but I've used that format before when developing misc crap. Then again, the month/day/year actually goes along with how we write/say it. HMMM

I'm thinking about taking a crack at the freelancing stuff to bridge the gap between university and job... we'll see. Pretty empty portfolio at the moment--still a few months to go, though. If all else fails, I can always flip burgers, or something along those lines.

Ok, I didn't know that, thanks for the information. Still, even if the universe does have a center, I think we both agree that it's not the earth.

It doesn't make a difference. The point is that the only thing in our solar system that orbits the earth is the moon, whether or not you like to call it a planet.

Actually, how you say it depends on what format you're used to seeing it in :P You Yanks might say 'March the 14th' - we usually say 'the 14th of March'.

Really? Hm... well I'll be damned. You know, one thing that's always bothered me is that you say "Two dollars" and you write it $2.00, but you say "fifty percent" and you write it 50%. It makes more sense that the dates be done in order, year month day or day month year, but I don't think americans have much to argue for solely because of our measurement system, I might end up moving to another country just because of that...

A bullet sound when you click the mouse would make it that much better.
Other than that seems pretty legit, was hoping for a longer game once It said get ready to use the mouse though. But I suppose its more of an interactive movie kind of thing.

Though it is a game, I'd put it in the comments that it's mostly a movie so people don't get frustrated and expect a long and intense game.

Yeah, Tbh I intended it to be a movie, but part of my brief (this was a Uni project) was that I had to use actionscript. Do you think it would do much better if I added another shooting stage perhaps?

Put it under movie, if I saw it under game and was expecting a game I'd probably be annoyed. It doesn't need another shooting stage or anything, just a little blurb in the comments, I was fully content with the movie but was dissapointed once I thought I was about to get a full (and with that long and complex an intro) awesome game =P.. . If I was prepared for it would have been fine.

To me it feels as if theres something weird about it. Comments? Suggestions?

Well, the edges shouldn't really overlap. Maybe that's it. Also, maybe you should move it more from the middle than just one edge.

Are you refering to the movement? If so then thats because I haven't actually coded movement properly. I've just done that for test purposes.

I see what you mean. I might add another layer of nodes in to stop this or something. I'm not too sure yet. I did kind of pick up on that but not sure how I could solve it. And its start position can easily be changed by just changing 2 variables :)

I suppose you could arrange the angles in an array, and then order them by size. That way you'll always end up drawing the line in a clockwise/anticlockwise direction.

I only have an idea for a big project. This idea i've for 2 years now and i think that i still like the idea is a good sign it could be a good idea. But becouse of my bad animation skills I've not tried to put my idea into a movie yet. Maybe I'll give it a try in a few years, who knows...
