Juno was really fantastic. It was a beautiful storyline (no wonder it got the oscer) and the girl, like you said, really is adorable. I definitely suggest seeing it. It was one of my favorite movies of last year by far.

Plus. Michael Cera can do no wrong.

On a side note, I went snowboarding down a real mountain for the first time ever on Wednesday.. and well.. I'll just let the picture tell you how it went.
We don't have moutains in Western NYS, we have large hills lol. So I guess I've never really been down a mountain.

I feel you. The best thing we have around here is Mountain Creek which is really just a bunchof big hills. The only reason anyone should go there is for the terrain parks, which are alright.
...but i did just get back from a week long snowboarding trip to Vail, Colorado with some friends so I'm not complaining. This is a shot from outside our hotel room... our hotel had its own lift up the mountain :)

Flash Movies

No matter what I can always get a laugh out of The New Guy by Ed Skudder. I love the humor and it's really hard to find anything else like it in the portal. The same goes for a few by David Firth too - Men From Up the Stair, Socklops, etc. and, of course, I can always watch One O'Clock Jump because that thing will never get old.

Off-topic flash idea

I just thought of something last night that would be incredibly useful in Flash but I'm not sure if they could actually implement something like this. Basically, whenever you're making a movie there's bunch of scene changes, so it would be cool if we could set a marker for the beginning and end of a certain scene (don't confuse this with the whole Scene 1, Scene 2 thing, I'm talking about just doing the whole movie in the main timeline) and be able to name each one. They could even be color coded or whatever but what I was thinking was that in each of these sectioned off scenes you could be able to rename the layers to whatever suits that scene and then they would change once it got to the next set of markers/scene. So for instance, the layers would be individually named to suit the red area, then when you were working in the green area, the layers would be suited to that. Does anyone sorta understand what I'm trying to say?

RE: Concert

Eric Clapton
I went and saw him play with Winwood [I don't really know who this was]. Anyways, Eric Clapton was amazing and after seeing him, I could argue he is one of the best guitarists living today.

Wow I'm pretty jealous, I'm a fan of both of those guys! I was planning to go to Bon Jovi with my mates this summer, but apparently it has been sold out. I'm gonna try if I can buy a ticket online if it isn't too expensive. Supposedly U2 is having another tour this year as well along with a new album release. I'm afraid he tickets will be sold out within seconds, but I'm still gonna give it a shot.

Nah - cleaner :)

It sounds like a pretty neat idea, but to be honest I'd rather Adobe worked out the existing bugs with text areas and junk before moving on to making fancy stuff.

Flash 10 wishlist

They need to add a feature in flash where it sprays mace on the user when he is doing a collab part and he works on frames beyond what was given to him. RUDE.

Consider yourself lucky. The moment I compiled code which still had a comment in, I went completely insane and killed all my friends with a meat cleaver, toothpick and plastic fork. Now I've got no-one to bore with confusing and meaningless details about game projects because they had enough lack of foresight to ask what I did over the weekend :(

Career

Honestly, I haven't made up my mind on what I want to do. I do have some strong Interests that I'm going to look into during my Senior Year and pick.

1) Psychologist - I've always taken an interest in Human behavior, specifically I've always found myself pondering about children's social development patterns.

2) Electronics Hardware Engineer - I love things like this, making circuits and minicomputers and whatnot. I think If I decide on this I'll join the US Service and go to a Military college.

3) Some kind of Biochemist or something like that - I've always loved sciences, particularly chemistry and Biology. So I figure, Biochemist sounds nice :).

4) Police - Something about being able to legally beat people with a stick attracts me to this job.

Still undecided. I'm thinking of IT teacher, I already seem to do a good job of that at school because our teachers have no idea what they're talking about.

Career
I'm not too sure, I'm studying but I hope to set up something before I graduate, have my own little business (something web-related) I can work full-time on after I'm finished with uni. It's a bit of a long shot but I'm going to give it a try anyway. Besides, if it doesn't work out I'll always have my education to fall back on, at the moment there's plenty of work for people in my field of education, so if it stays this way it won't be very hard to find a good job. I'll keep animating as a hobby, I'm not the right person to do that professionally since I find it pretty much impossible to finish anything I start working on.

I wouldn't mind being a university lecturer. They seem to have a lot of free time. I don't like the idea of working 9-5.

Random idea: Flash achievements. Have a way for people to get achievements in games (maybe only in games made by affiliates) and they're all viewable on your profile. You know you want it baybeee.

Career!!! I r go to university studying video game programming, I'll probably get a job at some UK based company but I hope to start my own company one day. If all else fails I can freelance but I'd rathuh not. I could always make Flash games I guess, and try living off the sponsorship cash.. kinda like freelancing for myself ;]

Career

I think i eventually want to be a college level teacher once I've gained enough working world experience.. i've always enjoyed making something out of my misteps and fuckups.. it all feels worth it when you are able to steer someone away from making the same mistake.

Contests

I was poking around the art forum and its cool to see long-time users like Poxpower running little mini contests.. I had a blast running the Munny contest and its cool to have like 'unusual' prizes such as the Munny's and in the case of poxpower, a set of Heavy Metal magazines..
expect a new competition tmrw... im gonna think up something. It probably wont be anything complex like the Munny comp... i just want to do something easy to manage and available to anyone to do .. so itll be something illustration related like pox and many of the ng art contests.. just gotta find a quirky theme and prizes.

My guess would be because it's in perspective. Hole a wireframe sphere like that up really close to your eye, it'll appear distorted too.

Move it farther away from the camera if you know what I mean

Oh geez, everyone I know who is a video game tester absolutely hates their life... like in one game, one of my friends had to constantly run around the same level 1 for an entire week, trying to find points that he can break the game at. This involved jumping up and down on certain panels over and over again for hours... it was ridiculous. The market is so competitive, that people would work for hours upon hours just so they can hope to get a promotion.

Career

I want to become a senior architect :) This tuesday i am invited at a pretty big architecture agency for a job interview. They already saw my portfolio and personally contacted me, so i'm quite optimistic.
In the future i want to start my own architecture agency though. It's easy for architects to start on their own, because they don't have any products they must buy or distribute. Basically they sell their own creativity.

Newgrounds is flawed! Well the community is. Unoriginal, overdone and half assed collabs seem to get many people who koin and high scores too such as the sitck showdown collab (which im in) and stuff like Nutcase Nightmares awesome and original collabs are neglected. >:(

He made this awesome menu April Fools Menu and now its dying because its only had one bad part that got turned down and about 2 other people who said they may do something.

Even the portal is flawed. With all its ovverated and underrated submissions.

Oh and for a career im going into medical do be a surgeon.
