Total opposite over here. I understand all the material i'm taught, and get usualy 90% and up on tests and exams, but do absolutely horrible on homework and other bookwork.
This doesn't really do any good for my GPA >:( And as far as I'm concerned, your GPA is all that really matters for getting into higher education D:

Lol, that reminds me of InvaderZim. Some of the episodes have lasors and explosions happening in the backround for no reason, if they could of done it how the creator wanted it to be then it would of had people flying for no reasons and half the characters would of had pulsating veins and tumors.
It was probably one of my favourite cartoons and still is because it made sense to me while no-one else actually understood what was going on and it had the most creativity in it for a cartoon because all other cartoons shared their episode storylines.

I don't have that but I'm pretty good at delaying due dates, though I have to get focused before I open up Newgrounds or Flash. Unplugging the internet is probably the best option though.

Yeah I partly agree with that theory. Stuff moves alot quicker. If you watch an old film or TV program it will feel dated.. and old. Part of the reason is all the editing has got a lot quicker, there's alot of dialogue cut down, more action (not in a stereotypical 'action movie sense' just action in general).

It makes shit quicker, same theory as in how quickly we play and shut off flash games, same way you spend not so long assesing a webpage.

Ahem, just wanna say that why no one could be bothered to answer This guy, but This topic got alot of responses pretty quickly.

I think that's a good example of how the flash forum has been recently.

I was the one who answered. What I meant is they'd both been around the same amount of time, but one had 10-odd posts, but the one asking a sincere question had none.

Good point, we need to fix that though I usually try to help but some of these noobs these days have found a technique to gather plenty of posts.

The first one's title was "for the love of god" and the second one's title was "the bully platformer is out!!" It makes perfect sense that his thread got no response when the other thread got response. In fact it should have been locked for an uninformative title (not backseat modding, just saying), so he's lucky he got an answer. And another point is one would have to know how to help to respond but in the other thread they get to play a game, and it was bad so it was a magnet for response.

Another problem with the Flash Forum is this thread right here, it's a magnet and sucks in people to post intellectual things or catch-up on the last 3 pages that where made the other day when they where at work/school/a sleep.

What's wrong with posting intellectual things?

or catch-up on the last 3 pages that where made the other day when they where at work/school/a sleep.

You could just quickly browse the posts to see what people are talking about at that moment.

Don't forget the silly level one'mod', the other mods!

What's wrong with posting intellectual things?

Nothing really, it's just what this forum does, though some people only post here instead of a thread where someone might need help so it's good and a bit bad.

You could just quickly browse the posts to see what people are talking about at that moment.

Yeah I know but I like to read through incase I find something of interest to reply to.

Anyone who's a little bored and looking for something to do check out these vids. They're about Sacha Bara Cohen.. Ali-G. This (I guess) was a TV program put out when they released the Ali G movie. It's intresting to see a few things:
- Why is Harry Enfield so against Ali G that he'd go on a 'rant' show about him. Also why is he dissing him, alot of Harry Enfield stuff i've seen is cheap laughs, and what about the part where he is saying 'He is pointing fun at youth culture and this is wrong'.. fucking 'Kevin' mate. And 'Kevin and Perry the movie'? HOW DARE YOU mister Enfield..
- Look how B-rate and low this program is. It's intresting though.
- Look at the resolution they come to at the end. I think I agree with this and it also parallels over to his Borat character and what's happening with him (Borat the movie).

I don't like how they rip him, but it's intresting none the less. There are three parts, so check them all. Take a bow to Richard Whitley here too.

I got a question:

does rude activity from a author of a collab like..telling you ...FUCK YOU...is that acceptable in the forums? Because this dude..is acting really rude to everyone in his.."spongebob...collab" O_O

Read on from Page 6-9

We are basically arguing through all the pages.
The collab turned to spam; and it was pretty...horrible idea to begin with.

It all begins where my post leaves off about half down the page. Tell me what you guys think.

Congrats man, your find was definately my favourite, made me laugh so hard when I first saw it :D

What I feared most has come to pass: my game has been dealt a severe blow by all those who don't like anyone to occupy the top space. From #1 to #50 in one night :( At least we just clung to the top 50. Its a sad fact that anything at the #1 slot automatically becomes a target for haters, and since only 4% of viewers voted it was pretty vunerable.

Its a good system, well constructed, but like a lot of other things the human nature of those participating spoils it somewhat, and there's nothing anyone can do to change it.

Right! I'm done crying my eyes out, I have a question:

What would you say is the single most addictive game you've ever played (flash or console)? Can you put your finger on why it was so addictive?

Tom~

maybe 'N'. It was a great game and the physics were superb. And the option of making your own levels, then uploading/downloading others was great :D.

Also, wpnFire had me hooked for a while. Loads of guns, levels and cheats, great game.

That unreal tournament flash game. It played really smoothly and was alot of fun to play. If they can make that vs other online opponents then it can be godlike. I also think that warbears game was amazing, but not as addictive

Yeah, it's sick, I know :)
I got a bit over 45 000 impressions (that's also kinda cool :D)
2.65 % CTR, and a bit over 1150 clicks.
I don't usually get that high though :P, the last couple of days i have got around 15 000 impressions, but that's kinda high in itself :)

Its really annoying the way the portal and the voting works out. Theres literally hordes of kids who spend all day clicking a vote button to vote down shit and vote up the yuyu all day.

They are really sad and pathetic human beings. Luckly they will never get laid so thats the end of their bloodline. Hopefully.

Tom~

Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced

I mean seriously though, it's not my favorite game, but I have over 100 hours of gameplay time logged on it and I still play it!
Course my favorite games are the genesis sonic games.

The most addictive flash game I've ever played? Well, it's hard to decide as I've played so many, and I usually get bored with them pretty quickly. Some of my games have been pretty addictive but i usually am sick of them when I'm done making them.
Ragdoll avalanche 2, bowman, FSF, etc are all very addictive though.

Oh right, and the falling sand game is a win too.
