Anyway...
I enjoy gardening a lot. I use to garden a lot with my mother as a child. We don't anymore but yeah. My pride and joy this year in the backyard was my rose bush and sunflowers. I gre about 5 sunflowers by my fence this year. They got about 7 feet tall before I got rid of 'em. The rose bush hasn't had a single rose sadly. :(
Performing Wrestling, I don't do it as much as I use to but I use to be very into perforiming wrestling(WWE type stuff). I saw it as a very complexed play with lots of actions. It really is an amazing feel to be able to perform dangerious moves working together with another person to make sure you don't hurt yourself infront of a dozon or so people. Wish I was in better shape... probably still have a match or two left in me. :P
Finally I also enjoy singing country music. I'm a hick and grew up like a hillbilly so yeah.

I used to skate and was quite good but then the person I did it with just sort of stopped and it's pretty boring by yourself, no one else was any good at it so I quit.
(Don't know why that got brought up just figured with the comment towards sweet skater it was relevant).

I snowboard a lot only sport I'd say I'm goot at other than soccer. So I guesse that leaves snowboarding soccer and art.

Better than being a jack of all trades master of none...

lol Yeah it can get pretty crazy... I'm not fund of the whole "Dude! Let's break shit over our heads then jump onto piles of flaming thumbtaks!" thing... The most I'd ever use for weapons was crowbars and street signs.. Other then that I was once slammed on a pile of thumbtaks... which was very stupid. Heh, I was just a stupid kid with a stupid dream of being a pro-wrestler. We all go through phases like that in life when we do stupid things for impossible dreams. However I don't regret it. I'm lucky I didn't get any perminant injuries but the whole thing was a pretty cool experince.

I think I can find something good out of most periods/styles of many art movements, but I tend to gravitate toward art that depicts people and emotions, preferably with some abstraction. I think seeing things through the lens of another artist is somehow deeper then things depicted how they are in reality.

I don't really know that much about art history, but I know what I like in a painting or sculpture. I feel like art should make you feel, it should immediately hit you when you look at it, raw emotion bleeding through the canvas. I do quite like Munch and Schiele. I either like a piece of art or I don't.

Other than flash, i'm pretty interested in drawing and painting, i love painting Vinyl toys. i like to skate and ski, hacky sack, Tagging, steel sculpture. and i'm crazy interested in graphic novels, pretty much anything to do with art in any form. my heroes are Bob Odenkirk aand Neckface (an amazing street artist)

Other Than Flash

I am currently an Art Student at College so I spent most of days eating and breathing art. I wouldn't have chosen this path if I didn't think I had the skill to be successful or think that this is what I wanted to do with my. I wouldn't say most of my art is done on computer at all, either. I rarely use the computer for my classes at school but lately I have been doing a LOT of graphite, ink, and paint work. It's all fun, all though I wouldn't consider myself much of a painter at all. My favorite types of art are pretty much anything on the streets. This includes SO much more than graffiti, mind you.

Also, Luis, Egon Schiele happens to be one of my favorite artists as well and thanks for the link to Kawasaki's work, that stuff is beautiful. And...as weird as it sounds, there is definitely something to an emaciated body that is intriguing, sad, and curious,. I haven't quite found out what it is. Damn though, Egon's self-portraits are fucking amazing. It's definitely a combination of his unique feature and his style, but that shits great.

Next to art, during the winter times Snowboarding is my favorite thing to do. I've been doing it for probably around 11 years now. There is nothing better than carving up a fresh powder run. God that is a great feeling.

Besides that I like biking, surfing, DJing parties, going to concerts, internets, cloths and shoes.

Painting Miniatures

Luis, if you are into painting miniatures I HAVE to show these small models I used to paint a couple years ago. They are pretty neat, you might enjoy them. I'll take some pictures when I get home.

heh, sometimes if im at a friends, i usually get up way before anyone else so rather than disturbing them, i just think.. sometimes for as much as 4 hours without doing anything else.

I often enjoy creating and watching in my head my own stories evolve either based on real ife, or on a cartoon like family guy. But not like a fully comprehensive story, more like a dream where things just flutter around and don't make full sense, and i often just think about tihngs that have happened over the years sometimes a little depressive, sometimes just fun.

Mainly when I'm thinking, I just make up scenes for films. They generally tend to end up as some sort of Mexican standoff, elaborate action sequence or revenge tragedy, or some combination of the three :P

Integrating more community into the forum
Theres been some growing frustration over the months with people feeling a bit detached from the forums and it becoming purely a safehaven of junk collabs and noob flash-maker seekers.
So I started thinking about threads that could be introduced to rebuild more community. Started it off with that pricing your work one. And today i was going to do a small scale spin-off of the artist-of-the-month feathre that i do on my site, except for rather than aotm, itll be like just a really condensed version of it, based on someone who frequents the forum. It wouldnt be a heavy conversation type of thread but it may be cool to atleast give someone some limelight once a month and let other people who wander the forums to know a little bit about their peers and what they are up to at a glance.
