If I get the upgrade to CS3 and currently have an older educational version of Flash, do I get the full license for the new version? Also, is it better to get the full program rather than the upgrade even if you already own a previous version of Flash?
Lolsencing Flash

Nope. A CS3 upgrade needs to be from a Standard or Professional version of Flash MX, Flash MX 2004 or Flash 8.
You need to buy Flash CS3 Full, not Upgrade.
Also, is it better to get the full program rather than the upgrade even if you already own a previous version of Flash?
New versions for different operating systems and extra computers. Otherwise, just upgrade.
In also stupid Adobe upgrade news, for me to upgrade from Flash CS3 to Production Studio CS3 it'll cost £1,264.98, or $2,529.96. Anyone in America fancy telling me what the price is over there?

Holy shit that's a lot of money. That's more than the full CS3 Master Collection over here costs! The upgrade to CS3 Production Premium is $799 and the full is $1699. You could get the full CS3 Master Collection for $2499, or just the upgrade for $1399.

How much does it normally cost in the USA then?

Around 2 bucks.

I'm guessing that's just for the burger though right? So the meals like what 3-4 dollars?

Where I live, in NY, it's about $5 or $6, and then if you get the meal it's about $8.
Check out this article I found. Apparently, finding the difference between the price of a big mac in each country is the informal way of seeing the exchange rate.

Wait a minute.. Does that mean that McDonald's rules the world economy? :O

Man your gettin ripped off.
In Buffalo a big mac meal is like 3.99.
And at the B-King it's like 3.50 for a whopper with cheese meal.
Mickey D's vs. The BK Lounge
Ok, I have to know. Which do the regs prefer?
I don't know if the Uk regs have BK ><

That's a really good deal. I think they just modify price based on location. I'm pretty sure if it's in a food court or attached to some kind of store then it's even more expensive. But I love my Big Mac so I'll always get it. Also I always get the large meal so that probably makes it a little more.
In Britain, we get the joy of having a strong currency compared to the dollar. The US market is a very, very, VERY large free market, so goods within it tend towards the marginal price no matter what they are (because competition is easy to set up in a country that size).
The problem over HERE is that if we're importing your stuff, we're not only on the tail end of customs tax and the trade deficit, but on the wrong side of a monopoly. So Adobe, like a lot of companies, double price everything. This has just gotten ridiculous with the sliding dollar.
So much so it's tempting to wire Luis the money to buy me a laptop and Master Collection from the States. It'll cost less than the rent for my flat for the next half year, rather than the next two.

Not just the world economy. The world. On that Wikipedia article there's a link to "The Golden Arches Theory of Conflict Preservation" - No country that has a McDonalds founded within its borders has ever declared war with another country with a McDonalds.

I dont like people biting their nails or trimming their nails... the sound that the nailclipper makes as nails fly as deadly projectiles is like torturous.. maybe i think too deeply into it.. the thought of someone chipping chunks off of their body is disgusting...
other wierd ones include unmade beds, and people who answer the door in their underwear/pajamas.. i find it so disrespectful you cant even dress yourself or put on something semi presentable.
BK vs. MCD's
I never liked Burger King, ill eat it but i usually get sick afterwards... they put way too much mayo on their burgers ... despite the fact that i tell them not to... so much for it being done 'my way' as their motto suggests. Also i like the big mac sauce thats like the whole point of getting it.

My friends make fun of me for my sleeping habits that I've for around 2 years now. I usually go to sleep at around 4 AM and wake up at 6 AM for school. After I get home from school, I go back to sleep at around 4 PM and then wake up at 8PM, eat dinner, do homework, and draw or w/e until 4AM when I go back to sleep again. A lot of people think it's weird but it suits me pretty well. I don't do any sports after school or anythin and the night time is when my creative juices start flowing.
Weekends I usually just stay up the whole time lol... unless I pass out.
Eventually I'll get back on a normal sleep schedule but it's a hard habit to break.
I used to do that too. I love animating when i'm alone and it's all quiet and dark, so animating day after day until 5-6 am in the morning was no exception. Hell, i even did most of my college work after midnight, just hours before the deadline. It's a strange lifestyle though and in a way you start to live for the evenings.
Nowadays i try to plan my stuff more carefully so that i actually get 7-8 hours of sleep every day and go to bed no later than 1 am. I am no longer the machine that i was 2 years ago , but my life is a bit more balanced i think. The downside is that my flash and architecture projects take more time, but i think it pays off since i have more energy for the daily stuff and am less stressed.

Hm, I have a similar one. You know when your accidentally graze something too fast with your hand and your fingernail briefly bends backward? I fucking HATE that. Gar. The scene in Land of the Dead where they scrape at the tank and their nails break off backwards made me wanna vom.

Pet Peeves
A personal favorite of mine is people who chew really, really loudly, or talk with their mouths full. It really pisses me off sometimes, although I know it's a stupid thing to get all fussed up about.

Well, I have to go with McDonalds for burgers, but BK for fries. Although they are greasy, I'd have to say that Wendy's is pretty good too. It's the only place I've seen that is still fast food joint that has a 4 patty burger.
For something that's a little less fast, Five Guys and Jake's are some other really fucking amazing burger places. Saddly, Five guys is only in the mid-Atlantic. Jake's I don't know about. However, there is this new place that just went up near where I live; It's called "Cheeseburger In Paradise" (reference to a song). I haven't eaten there yet, but it's supposed to be fucking delicious.
However, Chik-Fil-A is where it's at motherfuckers. The most delicious shit ever. Plus, it's a lot healthier than the shit from the likes of Mickey D's and BK.
An interesting fact: Chik-Fil-A's all across the country are closed on Sunday because the owner of the chain is a very devout Christian. In fact, most of the toys in the kids' meals are Christian moral-based.

Yeah, I know that ;)
This gave me an idea for a topic though;
Funny Coincidences
Life is full of them, it's usually hard to remember any when you're asked to though, but at least I remember one that's kinda funny.
Me and a friend were watching a local handball match (I include a link as it seems like it doesn't even exists in America or the UK). Near the end of the first half we went for a stroll and we found a door that lead out to some kind of balcony, and we decided to go out and get some fresh air. The door was closed and we wasn't sure if it was allowed to go out there, but no one was around so we didn't really care, and the exact same second that my friend opened the door we heard a loud, alarming sound. We both crapped our pants (no, not literally :P) because we thought that we had triggered some kind of alarm, but we soon realized that it just was the sound signaling the end of the first half of the game ^^
An Aside: Where that old adage DOESN'T ring true is the magical realm of money...

If I really thought McDonalds ran the world I would be killing myself about now. The truth is McDonalds likes to operate in a stable, free market society, and it's more likely a result of peace between nations and good management skills on the CEO of McDonalds.
Of course correlation doesn't necessarily mean cause - but only in material and physical sciences. NOTHING is unrelated in socioeconomics - and something falling in price or being available normally DOES mean something's happened. China's exports per year and thier rise in social standing are pretty obviously linked, and the fall in the dollar better have something to do with the fact one in ten homes in Cleveland are now vacant and not because the Aliens told the Federal Reserve to make the dollar cheaper. McDonalds not opening restaurants in Sierra Leone or Cambodia or Iraq or Cuba are for all the reasons you'd expect they wouldn't open one there.
Fact remains if you can buy a Big Mac there, you're probably safe from Nuclear Attack by the United States.
Big Mac or Whopper
Whopper on Tuesdays, Zinger Tower Meal on Fridays.
McDonalds just doesn't do it for me any more. KFC and BK get my votes.
Yes. We have those franchises over here. The only ones we don't seem to get are Wendy's and Taco Bell
Pet Peeves
Fingernails on a Blackboard. And any similar sound. A grinding or scratching sound will drive me insane.

Really? Strange. All around here theres queues outside KFC which go for miles. I never got why black people like KFC more than other, cheaper fast food restaurants.

You need to talk to other people both online and off.. open up. You're like very closed off and developed some really fucked up biases and profiling based on how out of touch with society you are.... if you were to mingle amongst more people you'd have an easier time embracing peoples differences and realizing we have to make the most of this world we've been given to share amongst.
