What you need to do is go to Aus, buy a winnebago on the cheap, grab as many regs from the West Side of the country with you and drive through the Outback to the East Side to meet up with the rest of the regs. I believe a fair chunk of the Australians are down Victoria/NSW way but there are a few others scattered around. But it isn't as hard to get from one side of Australia to the other as it is with US.

Yeah, with JetStar these days you can get flights from Queensland to Victoria for like, $30. Anyway, Australia meetup would have to be in Melbourne. Without a doubt :P

Hah, I usually bring interesting topics into the Reg Lounge, and usually they are discussed by many users just repeating one another in other's words.. So here I bring to you, Insomnia. Do any of you guys actually suffer from Insomnia, lack of sleep, or maybe even the Nocturnal Sleepiness Syndrome?

Recently, I've been having lack of sleep. Well, as far as I can remember, I've always been a night-time nocturnal kind of guy to begin with. I always preferred night before daylight anyways. Just oddly enough, It happens usually.

I guess it may be normal to randomly go to sleep during 2-4am during the weekdays for school, thna waking up 2-4 hours later (usually at 6:00am) and getting ready for school. It's really odd, I just really hope I can have a better structured sleeping schedule. My habits are outrageous -- like extremely.

I've been actually up for 43 hours so far. I haven't slept yet since yesterday morning I awoken for Thanksgiving, gotten all ready, than I stayed up all day til the night -- spent the night checking things, talking on the phone, than black-friday came into the picture, and I had to stay up -- Soon after I had plans the following day (today) and I had to stay up and now here I am.... I'm still not very tired, but I need to sleep -- it's unhealthy. And I usually get sick if I don't get my rest.

Ah, oh well. Let's discuss. :]

You must must drink alot of coffee Rudy...40+ hours without sleep can't be too good for your health.

I think the longest I've every stayed up is 24 hours...and that was when I was 8 or something. I like it when you try to stay awake, and then without realizing it you're asleep and then you open your eyes and you're like "A wha??" and the process repeats.

Sleeping Disorders

My friends make fun of me for my sleeping habits that I've for around 2 years now. I usually go to sleep at around 4 AM and wake up at 6 AM for school. After I get home from school, I go back to sleep at around 4 PM and then wake up at 8PM, eat dinner, do homework, and draw or w/e until 4AM when I go back to sleep again. A lot of people think it's weird but it suits me pretty well. I don't do any sports after school or anythin and the night time is when my creative juices start flowing.
Weekends I usually just stay up the whole time lol... unless I pass out.
Eventually I'll get back on a normal sleep schedule but it's a hard habit to break.

Poeple don't tend to want to know about the personal lives and hobbies of celibreties wheither they be some famous actor or awesome NG guy. The ones that due are either bored, stalkers, or just plain curious. Their's more to me then mullet and pickles yet poeple don't seem to realize that often either... my own family included. However if your one of the lucky few to gain enouph popularity for something, you can use it as a means to pull poeple in and get them interested or subjected to something you want poeple to praise you for.
I remember Tom once talking about in a news post how if you do good on one thing, even if you've done good on other things, poeple are brought into your fanbase by that thing, then since they've now gain the interest, they'd get into your other things which they normally wouldn't get into.
I believe most artists/authors a NG work hard in an effert to become popular like that of JAZZA, MindChamber, and The-Swain to name a quick few off the top of my head. However their are different forms of popularity on NG. The form you get depends on both your work and your attitude towards the NG community itself. illwillpress has one of the largest fanbases, but because he fails to answer to the criticism of his work through review responses and BBS posts an anti-fanbase of his work emerged. Then let's look at The-Swain. A friendly attitude and relationship with the NG community and his ever-growing fanbase. Not only that, but he strives to get better as an artist always should. This is both admirable and respectable, resulting in little to none agianst him and a healthy fanbase and relationship with NG. Then we look at someone like ZONE-SAMA. His/Her fanbase is also that of the hentai fanbase as he/she makes hentai/erotic art. ZONE may not interact with the community much, however just a few post give us a glimpse of his/her personality which seems that of the serious yet happy-go-lucky kind. Bottum line though about ZONE is that his/her fanbase is spawned from mainly hentai lovers, but some like myself admirer his/her artistic skills. Their's also the super popularity type like our boy Tom Fulp. No matter what he uploads it will pass judgement and it will attain a high score. This is normal as he is the creator of this wonderful site however some others also have grown to this god-like rank.
I'm not really interested in how poeple become popular here, I'm more interested in what form of popularity they'll get and how they'll lose it. We all can probably find a case where someone is abusing their popularity and some where poeple are being much too humble.
Now last but, certaintly not least is Luis. You are a rare case and very special. Not only do you hold possibly the best relationship with the NG community next to Tom, but it's how you do it which is amazing. You go on a far more higher level then most of the popular poeple. The meet-ups and the projects like Sketchbook tours and Munnies Armies are what I'm talking about. You journey to a far more personal level by interacting and meeting the NG community IRL. Mind you others do this but you do this much more often compared to their once or twice every few years and it's usually at comic-con for them. Of course their's your works and huge contribution to the forums both as a mod and one of the guyz just posting.

'Kay that was a lil' too intelligent-ish for me, but whatever... I haven't posted in like forever it seems because of all the work lately I've had on my plate. :(

I have a really messed up sleep schedule too, but I still get more than the healthy amount of sleep. Whenever I stay up really late or overnight or whatever, I overcompensate completely for my lost sleep.

That's almost what my pattern is turning into except, that I'm on uni holidays now, so I can sleep in to about noon ^^
I find the best time to animate is at night as well, and I'm beginning to go to bed later and later. I just find that there are way less distractions at night time, clearly, because everyone else has gone to bed, and I just feel a whole lot more relaxed.
But I'm kinda sick of wasting half my day now so, I'm trying to correct this :P

Whenever you add in the weapon for Santa, I think you should have him shoot things at the enemy that turns their weapons into like wreaths, candy canes, or something else christmas related. Basically, what happened at the end of the Red Sleigh Down episode of South Park.
