Why not do something like transmigration, where the animators do sprites, enemies, backgrounds, and transition movies, and the coders do movement code to give the move more interactivity. I really like transmigration, it was a nice original take on telling a story.

Really, it's a matter of choice how people want to aid other people, and I don't think we should not persuade people to think otherwise. I think it's noble enough just getting people to try to donate something for a charitable cause.

I again put forward my idea - make up a sentence, each person animates one or two being spoken, then everyone animates a character jumping for the end.

A while back, I was thinking around the idea of taking a few weeks off work and travelling to the States, going from city to city visiting NG regs and flash artists and doing a 1-2 day flash with them, before moving on. I worked it out though, and it would cost far too much money for me to do. Then again, a large part of my expenses would be travel, especially the trans-atlantic flights, but I guess you US folks could organise a road trip or something. It's just a little out of my reach right now...

Reg Road Trip

I think it would be cool to do something like that. Just have someone get a big van for us all to have, and just drive around the country picking up regs and everyone could just pitch in a little to fund it. It would be cool, but pretty unreasonable.

If there's going to be some kind of reg collab I think you shouldn't let people who are unexperienced in. This would include me since my animating skills are ... not too great.. but I would like to see some collab that can compare to this one.

A trip like that would be awesome but like you said, unreasonable. I would imagine that it would be really fun, though. Some kind of collab would be cool as well the problem is that it would most likely fall apart unless the leader is really dedicated.

Yeah, I hate it when people who blow join collabs, like I did last year. Well anyways, I just wanted to say that I might join it but also, that Simple Line 8 was probably the most awesome collab I've ever seen. Some of the parts in that are so good. The only one I don't really like, which is good but not great is the part with the elephant. He didn't really do a great job on it.

College Art Test

I just got mine. Shit am I gonna be busy :O

I have to draw myself as my favorite character from a book, I have to make an advertisement promoting "green living" (I plan on doing a green collage type thing as part of that), and I have to make an advert for a kid's soap.

Hm, I think everyone just whip something together and work together equally honestly. Here's an example:

"Luis walks into the basement, and sees Fuzz there. Luis talks to Fuzz. Fuzz has a small animation of him talking, then a flashback minigame. The minigame will reveal that he remembered Rudy screaming in the middle of the night. This recollection will make Fuzz tell Luis to stay here, and Fuzz will become the main character for a while, to go find Rudy! Then Fuzz will talk to Rudy, and the whole intro > minigame flashback > character swap will continue."

Some of you may have noticed I have been gone for nearly half a month. But than again, I highly doubt you even noticed that. Funny, huh? Eh, I'm not that important around here, but anyways -- I've been really caught up in slacking in school, trying to get back up my grades, and I've been sick alot lately.

Another thing is I had to actually go see a therapist recently last week, and I've been facing alot of family problems and just problems in general. Just shooting that out there just in case anyone was curious where I've been. Alright, time to vanish for another half of a month.

Oh, I'm not just going there because of Jeff. Tom told me that that was where Jeff went and that they had a really good art program, so I looked into it more.

Over the summer, I actually went on a visitation there and fell in love with it.

The school is a Pennsylvania State College, so the tuition and shit is not outrageously expensive, the campus is good sized, but everything is withing walking distance, and there is even a little town with some nice diners and stuff nearby too. Not only that, but a few of my friends are going to Millersville, so it's close enough that we can still hang out and shit. Plus, it's about a 2 hour drive to my home from there, so it's far enough that my parents won't harass me, but close enough that I can drive home without much trouble.

On top of that, they're completely rebuilding the art department and putting a lot of new computers and shit in it.

Basically, when I visited, I found out it was the school that I wanted to go to, hands down. I had been to a few other schools and I have gone to some others since too, but something about Kutztown just drew me there and I don't think I'd feel right going anywhere else.

So, that's why I want to go to KU, not because of Jeff (he actually didn't tell me much of anything about it :X)

and when I finish my shit, I'll put it up.
