Sent some games to various sites for sponsorships. (Following the all mighty rules and suggestions of flashgamesponsorship.com) Got back from 2 out of the 15+ so far. No deals yet. Everyones busy with contests and junk. I hate waiting. I'm not and never will be a patient person. I was the lil' kid that push poeple out of the way in the line to the movie theaters. By the 24th if I haven't gotten any replys or deals I'm just gonna upload them anyway and screw sponsoring.

Also: I have animators block yet I don't... if that makes sense. I have a project in mind that I wanna get done yet I don't feel like workin' on it so I've just been bored workin' on old side projects I still have liein' 'round.

Your style of animation.
Do you have your own style of animation/character design and etc? Or do you just do anime, or uber-cartoony, or sticks, or... whatever. I always found MindChamber's Pico style really neat but I've always drawn chibi anime style dudes. I kinda have been combining MC's style and chibi anime together with some other random crap for my latest 'toons/games. I can draw well by hand but I refuse to get a wabcom tablit. If I ever do though I'd probably use it for a week then banish it to the darkness of my closet. Figured "Hey, if I can make crap that scores well already with a $10 mouse. What's the point of atablit?". Course I'm not a 1337 mouse artist like Luis. :P

My parents know I've recieved money from game sponsors / contests etc, but they haven't taken any particular interest, they havent seen any of my work. Except for the one's where my sister is like "OMG luk at whut he maed lol". To be honest, I'd rather that Flash be something I enjoy on my own, away from the influences of family.

I've been to one convention like a few years back in like may. Don't even know the name of it cause an old friend draged me to it. Anyway it was cool 'cause I enjoyed staring at the cosplay girls that actually looked good. Got to buy some trading cards and crap too. I was also under attack by a few poeple sayin' I should've cosplayed as Snake from Metal Gear. As I apparently look like him with the whole mullet goutie combo. :/

My dad loves video games. He used to play Missle Command for 3 hours straight on one quarter, and my mom would have to call the gas station to tell the owner to kick my dad out and come home.

That's awesome! I plan to go into the game field as well..there are a few studios that are pretty close to my house like EA Games and Konami so I figure I'll apply for one those. I've been up to a Sony studio a few times. If that doesnt work out I'll go into regular animation :)

Gay Friends

That can be really surprising and bizaare the first time you hear it. It always blows my mind how people can be married for ten years and then be gay. Shits crazy...imagine what the wife might thing.

Also, my roommate is gay. I'm perfectly fine with it. I can't stand people who are completely appalled and disgusted by anything gay.

Yeah my parents know I am into animation. I've done a few logo animations for my father (He's a graphic designer) and Ive showed them stuff I've done. My dad is an artist so he's always happy about my doing arty things. I ended up at art school as well so of course they know I am at least SOMEWHAT interested in the arts.

Street Art

IS anyone here into Street art (Graffiti, Stenciling etc) . I found this recently and I absolutely love it. Shit like this is the best. I'm living in Philadelphia now and being exposed to all of this street art on a daily basis is really inspiring. Right now I have stencils and stickers and paint pens all over my room. I DO NOT CONDONE MAKING GRAFFITI but god damn it's addictive.

I've never taken part in a sig trend before. You guys need to come up with a much, much better idea to get me to participate.

Not at all. All you have to do is wait until people are sick and tired of 3D animations, then the demand for 2D will rise again (market economics for the win).
