ace game jmtb02, the huge display panel really bugged me though, just a crit for the future. I was constantly getting the feeling of trying to look around it. The set up and all the menu stuff is cool.
Books
We were talking about books before. I thought about saying this, but I forgot. Anywho, The Dilbert Future is the funniest book I've ever read, Scott Adams is a legend. Buy it now. :D

Alphabet of manliness is probably the funniest that I've ever read.
Viva la Luis!
I got bored. Plus, I wanted to practice this for a shirt I'm making. Not so good results. I wish someone could help me or I could find a tut. I ended up just using the Stamp filter >:V It looks like shit.

It looks like when someone noobishly pastes a picture of one guy's face over someone elses in one of those "photoshop me" threads

Or, it looks like my shitty attempt at trying to get the Che Guevara face when I don't know how to do it. I'm not a fucking noob, I just have no idea how to get the results I want. And besides, I did more than "paste someone's face on someone else". I used PS, not Paint, and It was a specific style I tried to mimic. I know it looks like shit, but I figured a few people might get the humour behind it >:V
Guess you didn't, idiot.
I met Darth Vader
http://toastarcade.files.wordpress.com/2 007/09/dsc00635.jpg
He was ok, but kept breathing down my neck and threatening me unless I joined the dark side. Later he was escorted out by security when he chopped off the hand of a guy dressed like Luke Skywalker.

Take a second to cool off before you start posting angry rants directed at other users. There will be no flaming in the reg thread. Okay?

Woah, woah, slow down - overreaction! Hands down, you definitely win the hyperbole award. I never once called you a noob or said I didn't find your picture amusing, so please don't call me an idiot or overstate what is actually going on here. Come on, we're talking about a little sketch on the internet!
Don't embellish what I actually said. Jokingly comparing one thing to another is far apart from demeaning someone. I didn't mean to come off as bad-mannered, but seriously you've gotta chill out lol.

Can't remember the exact specfics, but it involves setting the levels of your basic image down so that it only recognises White and Black, and then slotting it over poor Che's mug.
Online Game Addiction
I have a problem now. It's in the form of Yohoho Puzzle Pirates.

I used to have a raving obsession with Kingdom of Loathing. But then I got busy for awhile, moving across the country, and missed about a month and my account got purged. =[
It's a great game, though, and my character was pretty kick ass.

People posting updates on their unpopular (and crappy) Projects
Lots of people have been doing it, and its really annoying and unnecessary. I don't really mind if its actually a good project and/or well known. But usually its not. :/
MMO Addiction
For a while I had that Puzzle Pirates addiction Kayn. It was quite awesome then, and I am sure it has gotten better. Currently, I'm not addicted to anything, but get some occasional Second Life play in with my bud. It's a nice game if you aren't easily offended and aren't scared by furries. Oh, that and Everquest 2.

Yes. There should be some rules about this. I think I'm going to start sending them to NG Alphas. I mean, that's what it's there for, but, I suppose, they want constructive criticism... so I don't know. It is a growing problem

RE: MMO Addiction
I much prefer real PC games (programs) to the online ones. I've never found an online game that I liked enough to be addicted - games like Battlefield are always more fun. That's an interesting topic of discussion actually...
Battlefield 2
Who plays it? it would be awesome to get your usernames!
MMO Addiction
I could write a book on the topic. If you can consider Neopets an MMO, then that's every day from 3rd to 5th grade, then Cokemusic, Then Ragnarok for 2 years, then Gaia for a Year. When I like something, I REALLY like something. Anyway, I don't see anything wrong with being addicted to 'em unless that's all you do.
In that case, it's bad.
I've gone and become an SSBB addict... what to do, what to do...
MMO Addiction
Twice, I have been 'Addicted' to a MMO game. First time was Stick arena was I was thirteen.
Then when I was fifteen I found a game that was still in beta testing, called 'Pawn'. I played that, it got released, noobs came, got boring, lagged out, quit XD.

Addictions
I'm not addicted to anything at the moment, and haven't been for about 3 years. But I have been addicted to habbo and runescape. But this was when I was about 10-11, so don't judge me :P
Wait, you are going to college right?
No :p I'm in sixth form, where laptops aren't neccessary/essential... but it still might be nice to have one.
buy an xbox 360 for halo 3
I'm not into shooters, I prefer colourful family games that Nintendo is great at.
MMO addictions
I don't think I've ever been addicted... wait, I don't think I've ever truly played an MMO either :p

I used a laptop at home for a while and it wasn't worth the mobility. It ran far worse than a desktop of similar price, touch pads are absolute jokes, the USB stuff I had plugged in came loose if you looked at it funny and the RAM was too low to realistically produce any serious Flash products without constant crashing and snail's pace running. The desktop I have now is far superior and like half the price. Plus sitting at a desk is more comfortable and better for your back :)
I wouldn't get a laptop unless you're hardly going to get any access to your desktop in free time, and having something mobile is completely necessary. Otherwise just get an awesome desktop.

I hadn't noticed. I've not been on the forum a lot lately, though. I remember occasional threads like that, and they're pretty annoying unless there's something specific they need help for.

Yup, great game. I also have project reality c0.6, get it if you haven't. My name is ~{Srg.Dep}~. Here's my stat page.

Crappy Projects
The way i see it, if you post one, that should be enough. If you really want, you can post updates in it and ask for feedback, if people don't give you any, making another thread probably won't help.
MMO Addiction
I used to play Runescape a lot. I quit about the same time I started using Flash. I also played Kingdom of Loathing for a while.
RE: Laptops
i have Flash 8 installed on my laptop...it's a piece of shit, though - 850 mHz and and has 256 megs of ram. i mostly use it for API practice when i'm not at home, since exporting code doesn't seem to take a god damn hour.
RE: MMO Addiction
my brother got a 60-day WoW card for his birthday...he's pretty much obsessed with the game. he keeps telling me to get the demo, but i think i want to keep my social life.
by the way, hai.
