A new game made in AS3 (for speed) I've been working on: tanks (working title). WASD to move, mouse is shoot. The best bit about this is that it generates the entire level by converting a movieclip into a bitmap data, then it analyses it, and creates everything from that (even the baddies and the player). Because of this, I might need level creators for the game.
Looks good so far, it's running incredibly smoothly for me :). When you say about bitmap data conversion, does your engine indentify colours as barriers/walls/scenery etc? That would be good for level creating, it'd give the payer much more freedom.
Anyway, looks nice ;).
Make My Cartoon
I don't like it when people try to make a crap story, get an artist to do it, then they demand they take all the credit. However, it's alright when they've actually thought about what they want to do, and they've put some effort into it, before handing the job over.
I suppose a collab is similar, but on a larger scale. Some people want to start a collab, make a quick menu then take the daily award and 40% of the sponsorship cash. Whilst others try to actually work with the co-authors.
