HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!

it's not all bad, I mean you can sign in as 'offline' which can be really useful. But on a PC you don't have that option.
Que?

I don't like the look quite as much, but I'm certain I can edit it to look better.
Thanks!
NP, they update Mercury every once and a while. The looks are customizable I think.

Hey I was wonderin',
NG sponsership all the way. If they did..
MSN on Mac
Adium it the best replacement i've tried. It combines all the popular messengers into one awesome one. It matches the mac UI very nicely too.
OK, THIS IS ABOUT CS3
Is there anyone else who has flash CS3 and it is running just fine for them?
CS3
Yeah I'm not really having any problems either besides the occasional bug (seems like that's how it is for nearly ever version of flash though so I'm not complaining).
Stuff for CS4?
I'd love to be able to rotate the stage, I know it sounds weird but it'd be so much easier for drawing things sideways. And I know I could just rotate the image, but wouldn't rotating the stage be just that much easier (and cooler).
Also I'd love to have a camera tool, perhaps one sort of along the lines of After Effeects...? Thoughts?
always behind schedule.
CS4
If you go to rotate the stage when you have a lot of stuff on it, it would rape your resources like no other. Cool, but not very practical. Personally I would still like to see array functions in the drawing tools. Polar Array and Array Along Curve mainly. Those of you who have used 3D software should know what I'm talking about.

Yah, but I don't think they would do that because they want you to buy more of their products :/

Rotating the stage would be awesome. Corel Painter can do it. I think something about the way Photoshop handles the layers makes it impractical or something.
CS3
Ahh, CS3 runs perfectly for me, no problems whatsoever.
It's basically a perfect version of Flash 8 with an awesome interface and AS3.

Not really. I can't imagine it being more resource consuming than just transforming the objects on the stage independently.

Adium is the shit, now I no longer have to open two programs for my personal friends and all my internet peeps, it's all in one fun. Sweet.
CS4
The ability to import 3D objects and then be able to spin them on any axis within flash would be awesome. Also, a splice tool, flash is great for web design, so it might as well have one.
Im fine with flash 8 i dont see myself upgrade till cs10
I'll find other things to waste 200 bucks on ... itll be tough but ill try.

200$? schiznit, I second that!
..::CS4::..
I'd like those people over at Adobe to fucking allow the publishing of high quality .jpg's and .gif's. I can't believe that all these years later they haven't had the foresight to improve on this. Also; they should allow filters on graphic symbols, because working with graphics for the purposes of animation is way more convenient than movie clips.

I agree with you wholly on that note.
I never use movie clips when I'm animating a movie, unless of course I need a blur or something.

Feature I'd most like to see - it being priced the same as it is in the States as it is over here...
It's currently going to be cheaper for me to wire the money I intend to spend completely upgrading my computer and it's software over to someone responsible in the States, have them order it for me, and fly over there myself to pick up a new computer and software...
Lu? Your dollar's going to mean absolute shit over here...

UFO viral marketing?
Word on the street is that this is for the Halo movie or something along those lines (maybe Cloverfield?). Still pretty cool though, it's videos submitted to YouTube of UFO's flying over Haiti and the Dominican Republic, and my guess is that more are gonna start to crop up.

Dominican Republic UFO
Haiti UFO
That's pretty clever. I wonder what Orson Welles would think of that.

I know what you mean. I prefer things which are more subtle about their awesomeness. Like NG. Stuff with a sensible layout :P

heh, I tend to like this thinkgs that are little bit over the top and unique. NG is pretty basic as far as layout. Not to say that its not cool.
Don't you hate it when...
You've worked really hard on coding a game for weeks, and then it all craps out at the last hour and nothing in it seems to work. I coded a mission selection screen which was working perfectly until yesterday, and now it's completely screwed up the main story mode. The worst part is, I hadn't even touched the code when it stopped working, and there's no logical reason for it. And i've been trying for hours to fix it, but no can do. Has this happened to anyone else? It makes me want to bash my face into the keyboard until I have YTREWQ imprinted into my skull.

god yeah i know what you mean. I dont get the problem with coding really as I rarely code, but I get it with lots of other things. SO frustrating.
