Profiling

It's weird that a cop would stop you for something like that. From what I know, they're not REALLY supposed to stop you unless you're going way over the speed limit (10+). Maybe he was just bored and wanted someone to talk to.

Profiling

Everyones been profiled, old people are slow, teenagers are bastards and shop workers are Indian :P. Whoever you're you're bound to have been profiled. I was followed around a shop once because i was with some mates, and they thought we were going to steal stuff :(.

I always try and look dodgy when im in shops in the hope that theyll think im stealing things. Just to wind them up really. Never been even asked about it though.

I was walking home from a friends house once with a good friend of mine at like 1am. We both had been drinking and decided to walk the 8 mile walk home instead of getting a taxi. On the way back a police car stopped us and asked us where we were going, when we told them how far we were walking they said they'd give us a lift but we didnt seem to have much choice about it.
In the car they kept trying to catch us out and trick us by repeating what we said 5 minutes before but slightly different to see if we would notice.
Also, they asked us for our names, my name is Kester (really unusual name) Smith (really common name), so my name basically sounds like I just made it up. So we looked suspicious when I gave my name.
We hadnt done anything wrong so the whole thing was pretty funny really.

I give out way too much information over the internet. I am certain that anyone with my email address could find out shitloads about me. worrying.

Is funny, I told my friends at school when it happened, and yesterday we were talking about it somemore. They had pretty bad experiences aswell that I didnt know about before, one of them had their pockets, bag and clothes searched by a gang whilst having a knife held at him. I thought mine was bad.

Computer Specs
Quit whining, the 'computer' I'm on at the moment has 32 MB RAM, and runs on Windows 95.

Profiling
Some people deserve profiling... one of my groups of friends like to asplode deoderant cans in heavily wooded areas. I was the only one of them concerned enough to go back to check if a fire had started...

England Flooding
This was my town's village on wednesday morning, the water was 18 inches deep at one point. I find it funny :) Apparently it left permanent damage on some of the road surfaces, yay!

i am not sure if this is the right area to post about this book but i figured that the regular posters here would be able to give me some insight on this book. i recently read about this book by Betty Edwards (title above) and i am sure many of you have too. my question is, is this book really worth buying? can the book really teach you\help you draw better? if anyone has used this book and seen some real progress after working through it fully i would be very interested in hearing what you have to say about it as i am considering whether or not to purchase the book.

Age/Gender Profiling

The way it sounds to me, the worker was a dick.

Cops generally take the side of the person whose property it is - even if a shop owner's being way out of line, they'll side with them. It's like they're out to protect property rather than people.

Thats actually not bad, the gameplay concept was different from the other games in the contest, just the way you play is more rockin! I didn't see any glitches meself.
