And about the difficulty level, I agree, we started it off really easy, but then the last level is hard.

I'm not all informed on the whole copyrighted song thing, but I'm pretty sure that Weird Al's quite cool on the matter, so it's not that unlikely that he gave permission or something.

e-mail whoever made the song you're using, and if they give permission for it to be sponsored you should be OK. Otherwise, find something without a copyright.

Game Idea
Does this sound like a good idea for (yet another) game I'm making? The idea of the game is that everything is controlled with a single button (it actually works quite well o.O) and there's going to be 20 minigames, each minigame gets progressively harder the longer you play, and you have to last as long as you can. EVERYTHING (even the menu system) will be controlled by the spacebar and the spacebar alone. Good idea or bad idea? It's a unique idea, but I'm thinking the 13-year-old n00bs wouldn't get it, and immediately blam it...

That game was fun Meebs, I think though there is some more things you should of done with it - because once i realised you didnt have to click the mouse, i did realise that it was basically a catcher game. I did enjoy it though, and I couldnt beat the Arena level after about 3 tries. It kept me playing longer than I usually would play a flash game for too :)

It was alright but nothing new (atleast what I saw, I played to about level.. 8 or 9). I think one mistake you made is making the amount of bullets it takes to kill the falling things go up. I was getting into a pattern of firing four times then moving onto the next.

Yeah we wanted to add alot more to the game since it's due on the 15th, like improving graphics more, and just making it more fun, more levels etc. but I am leaving today for 6 weeks.

For all you know, ABS could have bought a license to use the music. Or may have just risked it. All-in-all, a website might take the risk to use copyrighted content, because they most likely won't get attacked for it.

As for artists allowing people to use their music in derivative work... its up to the artist. Best to ask or find out on their website. Even a quick call would be great.
