Or Halo 2. Shooters like Unreal though tend to bring up more competition since you kill eachother in such over the top ways it practically invites taunting and gloating. Which would be more exciting of course.

Acctually scrap my idea, the game i suggested only has set servers. You can make new ones. So if we did it we would be against random other people too.
I suppose you could do a point system, so see who comes first out of us, then second and so on ignoring the other players :/

Thats why i suggested halo demo.. you can make games with passwords so only regs can get in.

Oi, soon you'll all see how terrible I am at on-line, competitive first person shooters. I'm decent at single player, able to beat most games, but when I play on-line; major suckage (ask StarOgre).

FPSs are where it's at. I used to be pretty well above average, but I've been out of practice for a while. I'm a gonna go skill up at CS for a bit :)

Probably not. I've never played Halo. Nor have i played WoW NOR have i played Counterstrike... im such a virgin to the world.

Probably a highly connected network where you're at that's killing your bandwidth. Or if you're on a network another computer might be hogging all the bandwidith. What kind of connection do you have?
