For a laugh, we should try to draw images of how we picture each other (nothing serious - just a little MSPaint job, unless you're a real artist or something), and then stick them next to actual, factual, real life pics.

Eh? Vectors and FBF aren't mutually exclusive. Anyways, I'd hardly call all-vector graphics 'cheap'. Can be more time consuming if you're constructing it with control points than if you're using a brush on paper... just means you don't need the hassle of scanning, putting it all into another program...

True, hand-drawn stuff or photoshop-made bitmaps can allow for extra effects and can work well for bgs, but I don't think there's a particular need to delve outside of vectors until you're good and ready.

And nothing wrong with tweens when they're in the right place. The Waterlollies swf demo is a good example.

Helloooo everyone. Aside from a random post here and there, I've still been fairly absent. Well, as always... school work, and one more very exciting thing.

I'm moving into a new apartment, with a new roomate (who happens to be female) on Tuesday... after being in a relationship and living with the same person for close to 7 years. All the paperwork is finally done... you need to fill out more paperwork than you would to get a morgage for a house. This roomate, fortunately (and unfortunately) has the same sense of humor and crazy ideals that I do.. so new apartment is cool for a variety of reasons.

Street signs hanging on walls, denoting locations of the bathroom, kitchen, ext....
Christmas lights. =)
Indoor airsoft battles..
Boxing matches...
Fun pictures...

For example, on Thursday night.. since we have no couches, bed or huge furniture yet, we have decided to go camping in the apartment, tent and all...

Yep, welcome to the safe side... there is spam and no0bs here, but they dont come in herds (well sometimes), they are easier to spot and destroy instead of feeding the flames, general is chaos.. like a place full of people pushing and shouting and trying to stand out, with only few people that try to control them and need ot use heavy methods because the crowds dont understand.. you cna have fun in there sometimes, as well as you can feel the urge to leave shouting.....
here you are like in a safe side of the city with a normal bunch of lawbreakers which are easier to avoid...
In art, i dont know, i dont go much there since you need to draw in all the topics, and i come to the bbs to rest from my artistic issues, if i wanted to draw i'd continue with a movie, they should have more artistic tips threads...
