Filter overuse

Am i the only one who is getting pissed off at people using filters all the time!?

some movies use fitlers correctly (mr coo#4) and some.. Axis and allies (4/16), are barly watchable due to the filters!

Two good examples of filter 'use' and 'over-use'. This was the first time I had actually seen any of Mr. Coo's animations I believe. Very impressive stuff. He definitely seems the more traditional type animator compared to most here on Newgrounds. I loved it. While the Axis movie wasn't all terrible, much of that didn't need to be filtered, like you said. It didn't run slow for me, but with all that stuff filters out the ass, it definitely wasn't helping anything. Not necessary at all.

Yeah no need to worry about thumbnail sized monitors for me guys, I have a fricken 24 inch widescreen iMac. But my tablet didn't feel all that great on my old normal computer.

It's not like It made it any harder, it just didn't make drawing in flash the way I draw on paper any easier. Oh well, with a mouse, smoothing, and some determination, I'm sure I can prevail :P

Feeling Sick [AGAIN?!]

This has to be my second time this month about getting a stomach virus. Yesterday, I got out of school than I went to eat at Friendly's, later on at the restaurant I started to feel really sick. Like my stomach was about to explode. I had so many feelings in there I didn't even know what it was. And of course my dad says what he always thinks it is "YOU'RE CONSTIPATED" Oh god, I hate when parents and teachers say that.

I went to the nurse before for a stomach ache and she gave me an icepack. o_o Yeah, an icepack is totally going to make my stomach feel better. It's ridiculous. You could walk in there with your finger chopped off and the lady would give you a pack of crackers. Crazy nurses these days.

I've been feeling really sick lately. Last night I was puking non-stop. Eh, I never experienced a stomach virus like this before. Earlier today, I woke up around 10 and it oddly enough has passed. Luckily, I got to stay home from school... -- yet I missed out on a major test in World History >_<

Oh god. He isn't really that good. He's always off key and he mumbles alot. I don't normally watch American Idol due to the lack of interest in watching people sing. I used to watch the beginning auditions to just get a laugh out of the horrible singing -- but yesterday I actually found myself watching the show [for once.]

Back when the show actually was released to the US, I watched the first season (with Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarani, etc;) and I actually used to like the show. Watching this season, just an episode of it makes me shudder a bit at how horrible singers have become. Like seriously, there's NO good talent recently. American Idol used to have good contestants but it seems like it lacks quality now. If I have to see another American Idol season come to Fox, I'm going to go crazy. It gets old after awhile. Like Survivor for example. That show never stops.

Oh man, Back to Sanjaya. Well I really don't know if he knows this but he's like American Idol's puppet. He's the one that's been drawing in the publicity to the show this season. With spoofs about him online [especially on Youtube], the crazy fan girls loving him, as well as Saturday Night Live busting a skit on him. SNL Spoof on Sanjaya. He makes the show. This seems a bit fixed though. I don't know -- it's just I don't seem to think he's all that good. And if he ends up the next American Idol like Taylor Hicks did, I don't know what I'd think of the show. I guess Vote For the Worst is doing their job this year, as they did last year with Taylor.

Alot of people have been trying to get everyone to vote for this Sanjaya guy. Especially Howard Stern. Watch Video Here They are debating in which if it is illegal to interfere with the voting. They discuss Vote for the Worst as well. I think American Idol has hit rock bottom. Hopefully they will hit the top...someday [again.] It's sad though because everyone is encouraging everyone to vote for this guy and real talent is getting voted off of American Idol. Oh well, it's American. It shows how real reality TV is.

This show isn't even about talent anymore. It's just entertainment like every other show on Fox. Oh well, I hardly even watch Television. I'm usually busy doing something else.

Eh enough babbling. Time to play some PS2.

I can understand it, but it seems pretty plain. If you want it to be simple and not have more to it, then I think maybe it'll look better with the background color as the NG background color so that it has that effect like if the text were just on the background without a full picture.

For those with no idea what I'm going on about, the RIAA working with the Copyright Royalty Board has increased its rate for Internet Broadcasters to unreasonable levels - ones that may force some stations to pay above 100% of thier revenues, backdated to January 2006 (Hey people, pay more than you made for the past sixteen months or go off the air!). Which may force most Internet Radio Stations in the US to move offshore or shutdown.

Since I'm in the UK I can't do anything about it. Other people should go to savenetradio.org and do something (like petition thier governor and senators). Please. Listening to Megarock Radio is one of the only things getting me through the day at the moment...

though my PC can do some things semi correct, even simple sutff can fail horribly and/or eat away the cpu like a whore.

N64 games mostly work fine 9 aa few exeptions like Perfect dark) and DS games ( 2d) work fine (3d runs at a low percentage, even if its just a few polygons)

Photoshop works aslong as its not too complrex ( IE, more than 2 layers)

CD-RW drive is no longer reconised as a -rw and now is just a -r... a virus ( or any big) scan takes between 2-5 hours :D!

In other news, I got drunk for the first time on monday and now the general area where my appendix is, is hurting. Oh joy :D There's also a load of mysterious scratches on my arms and legs.
