Yes it is that Hard to Stop
well honestly dark some of your post have offended me despite there nieve wording. Some drugs are Physically addicting, meaning that your body ends up needing them to survive. A sever case of this is heroin, which after time your body believes it physically needs and without proper help you can DIE from the withdrawl symptoms.
While other drugs are mentally addicting, such as pot. Your body doesn't physically need it to operate your brain is more convinced that you do, which with enough will power you can stop, not that pot is that hard to quit using.
And to the peer pressure thing, do you honestly know one person who has tried something by being pressured into it. Load of crap, out of the many regular drug users i know none of them have tried it due to "peer pressure".
Also the first time you try a substance you are not going to get addicted, not to say you can't hurt yourself, you never know what the real strength of that heroin is or what else is in that crack rock as "filler". But the first time you pick up a cig you are not going to crave them constantly. Frankly you'll prolly cough your lungs out the first time.
Thought i'd throw in my 2 cents on the whole drug thing. sorry if i brought back an old idea, i was reading the last couple pages
