Well, I finally ordered a Wacom Graphire 6x8 yesterday. It should come in soon. When you guys got yours, did it immediately effect your games/animation's qualities or did you have to wait a while to get used to it?

A friend of mine used his tablet to play CS:S and they banned him because they thought he was hacking until he showed them what he was doing at a LAN party. XD

I tried to scan my arm. It did not work. Due to the awkward angle of the scanner I was moving about all the time so it came out all wierd.

I had plenty of time to do it but I wasted a while trying to get my ponytail to do its job instead of letting the hair in the front fall in my face. I don't know. I was young, and the show pissed me off. I hated it, and the theme song made me want to break something. There was just something about that show that I couldn't get over, so I never watched it.

With the impending failure of my final GCSE exams, I've found that I'm making quite a few fun-ducational games in Flash to help myself revise. Like right now I'm making a small game (for my personal use only) where German words appear and you have to translate them into English. Does anyone else make Flashes for their own personal use?

Does anyone know of a good host that supplies a domain (and registers it) with the hosting package, and can be paid for 2+ years other than dreamhost?

Photoshop

Ever since Photoshop CS(2?) I haven't been able to save any jpg without lowering the quality so much its ridiculous. Not only does it not represent the right file size(it will say lowering to, for example, 5 will lower it to something like 50kb but instead it only lowers it to something more like 70kb) it can't even lower things as much as it could in the olden days. This really bothers me when I'm sitting here with a simple black and white image thats only 50x50 pixels and I can't get the file size less than 8k, meaning I can't turn it into my AIM buddy icon.

I have had this problem as well. I just import into flash and export from there, gets it to a much smaller file size. Not to sure how to fix it with photoshop though.

This is true. Its something I've turned to. But flash is a bitch to work with when I want to crop an image or just export the portion in the file not the entire image. I end up having to resize and crop in photoshop, then paste it into flash.

I haven't checked in a while but I'm pretty sure www.vodahost.com and they have a website building software thats free, I use it, I can place stuff on the page visually and it gives me the html and it supports all files. I think they let you pay for 3 years and do provide the option for a domain name, check em out.

I haven't been. I can't imagine it would effect a hell of a lot and I'm unwilling to try at the moment but I'll give it a go next time I want to save something.

On a side note, I remember you from ages ago yet you still have such a low post count. I mean I don't make that many posts per day and I'm good at going ages without posting yet still I have a lot more than you.
