TMNT etc

Actually i think that tmnt should have long been computer generated characters if they were ever gonna make it to the big screen... the ones where they were like people in costumes were just stupid i felt like i was at chuckee cheese. I think though that its come out a few years too late.. im pretty over tmnt :(

Does anyone remember that mario show where it had like the live action mario and luigi characters?? imona see if i can youtube it.. god i cant believe i used to watch such cheesy shows.

Incredibles

BTW i didnt mention it but thats one of my favorite movies.. i really enjoyed it because the plot was mature and the characters allowed themselves to be cartoony and fictional... one of my beefs with disney cgi movies is that they are so maniacal about trying to use cgi to mimic reality and it just turns me off.. one example of that was ants.
I love mr incredibles proportions.. it is reminescent of dad n' me .

TMNT and other stuff

Join the club. :)

I'm going to see TMNT just because it looks so stupid... and I laugh at stupid things. Like TMNT 3, where they went back in time. It was funny because it was so pointlessly stupid.

Transformers looks pretty good, a while back I was obsessed with Transformers Armada (actually a good show)...

Which reminds me, anyone here remember Zoids?

Mice

I prefer the latter, but I have a roller-mouse right now that came with my computer. I plan to go crazy and buy a smecksay new mouse and keyboard along with another monitor. lol

But no, when I changed from roller to not-roller I didn't have much of a problem, the only problem I had was when I left it on the edge the mouse started going crazy.

Mice

Problems? It was a miracle!

On my current mouse I have an extra 4 buttons on either side, and I have one button which I can hold down and move the mouse wheel up and down to change the mouse sensitivity! It's brilliant.

Zelda Toon
I forget where, but I downloaded (a while ago, the episodes are gone now) all episodes of the Zelda cartoon and watched em all. The toon wasn't too bad, Link was a bit of an ass though.

Decapitation and the turtles
lol only Donnie and Mickey ever hit their enemies with their weapons, Raph and Leo just block then use the same kick over and over. I really hate the TMNT cartoons now, they went waaaaay to far out. They started using the same looking aliens (but with a different name!!!!) over and over, theres like a billion dimensions they go through, after 1 season they got rid of the turtles actually fighting ninjas.

Old Toons
I think if Disney wants some publicity they should comprise a DVD of the classic Mickey Mouse black and white toons with special features, then after a week lock it back in their vault. Bastards keeping stuff hidden in their vault...

Whoa its me!

Whoever the hell thought "Believe it!" was good for Naruto probably.

Also, I love the fact that there are TWO triforce pieces and Link is blonde.

CGI Movies

I hate them. I mean, when I was little, Toy Story was all I watched, and I stnd by the fact that it is the only worth-while 3D movie Pixar has made. Finding Nemo? pfft, please. The Incredibles? Go choke on a dick. Meet The Robinsons? I'm not even planning on seeing it. Shrek? Gay. Happy Feet? Hold on a sec, let me go eat my rancid shit because it souns like more fun.

Even the sequels to Toy Story are mediocre. Disney need to get the fuck back to regular movies that are drawn by hand.

Afro Samurai

I can't believe I didn't see this sooner. First, it's got great animation. Not quite as smooth fight sequences as "Faguto", but, damn fine.

Second, it's bloody. Gotta love the gore.

Third, Sex. There is fucking sex in it.

Fourth, Samuel L. Jackson. 'Nuff said.

Fifth, it's done in America, but based of a semi-Japanese comic.

It's hella tight. Plus, they're making a movie of it. Overall I have to say that it's completely unique for an anime, if you can still call it that. My advice is to Check it out on YouTube.

It's only 5 episodes long, but 5 sweet episodes.

Bahah. Mario Brothers. That show is so corny. Everyone's sounding all Brooklyn. :P

Flash Distractions/Inspiration

This probably was done before but whatever. I've been lacking inspiration in finishing my Pico Day video. I got about almost 2 minutes done and I'm already getting bored with it. >.< So many distractions rather than working on it. Like; TV; Video Games; Drawing; and .. Music >.<

Bleh. This is a pest. The BBS is a distraction too.
Anyone know any animations or something that will boost my inspiration in continuing this damn animation?

anyone the same way?

i'm the exact same way i took me ages to get my 2 mins of pico day done because i was lacking motivation but yesterday i had motivation and got quite a bit done today though it's lacking again.

Usually i don't mind just wait till i have motivation but this has a date it needs to be done and for some reason that makes me want to do it less it's weird although i want to finish i just can't get the motivation.

Zoids

At 3/25/07 11:45 AM, Trunks wrote: Which reminds me, anyone here remember Zoids?

I kinda hated the ones that were about the wars where the weapons were zoids. I fricken loved the one where they were for competitive fighting matches, with Bit Cloud. Maybe it was cheesier, but I just loved it; I mean I though the characters actually had personalities. I'm still pissed the series ended at 25 episodes when they were just about to move on to the S-rank fights or whatever.

Transformers

The old 80s cartoon was amazing. Even the Beastwars series was all right, but the anime is shit, I don't care what anyone says.

I remember growing up playing with transformer toys. They were so awesome, really. Its kinda funny how the show was pretty much just a marketing ploy. "Hey, let's make a TV show thats 22 minutes of advertisements for our toys, but actually make it fun and entertaining." Now that was a million dollar idea.

I still remember my brother threw Soundwave over the roof and when he landed in the backyard he was in pieces... :-(

Videogames into cartoons

Sometimes, it's just not needed at all...

sonic and mario cartoons were just hilariously stupid.

K I just need to add sound to my game right, and flashkit has crappy sound fx, so I went to sound dogs but the page keeps expiring and its not working, then I decided to get the main song, which I decided on one form locust toy box, but the site which to download it from won't work aswell. The internet hates me right now...

Game Cartoons
Yeah, game toons aren't always that good. Cross overs period aren't good. Except for Kirby, his show was cool.

I believe it was called "Kirby: Right Back at Ya!" or something like that. It featured an animation of Kirby running around :P More?

Heh, does anyone remember the "Donkey Kong" show? I loved that as a kid. I always used to get my mom to get the VHS tapes from the local Blockbuster so I could watch them. More?

I miss those good old shows. :]

Videogame Cartoons/Movies

that was great :D! (stuff about DK)

I had one of the movies (Legend of the Crystal Coconut), and it was awsome.

Now, about the kirby thing. I'm pretty sure it's still on (4kids TV). On the same station, they had Sonic X, which had to have been the worst game animation ever.

Sonic Show
Thats because they keep ruining Sonic with terrible story lines and new characters. He had a great game that if they stuck with it and just updated it every 2 years or so to go with current technology that'd be great, but no they gotta keep adding new crap to Sonic.

I totally agree with you. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Eggman were perfect, and the 2-d atmosphere was great. If they would have kept up with the old game style, the series wouldn't be dying.

I'm 100% sure nothing has a halflife of a milli second bu he's right about the halfinbg, its like an exponential function, that's the only way I remember it.

Isn't 1.5 million years a short halflife (i remmeber that number for some reason being short)

No matter how you cut it the characters in Incredible were definetly the best part of that movie, everything they did was in character and the animators brought out inner dilemas really well. (If anyone read that article about acting in animation)
that was true acting

Agreed, the series doesn't leave room for all these new dumb characters, they take away from Sonic himself...

And I finally got sounds and I'm done my game, so when I uploaded it to my site to test the pre-loader and game, the pre-loader doesn't work, I'm using the ng pre-loader and just like hook shot, it doesn't work... I'm gonna keep working on fixing it, but if I can't in like 20 minutes should I still pop it on newgrounds?

I dont get how they messed up the new sonic games i loved the old ones when i was a kid and in the 2D ones they gave you the impression of speed better than in the next gen ones you would assume the next gen technology would be able to do it.

It was a really good, they managed to not include new characters (much I suppose) for the show that didn't suck. The animation for its time was also good if I do recall, it was 3D right?

Unique in plenty of ways, I might add. The storylines and plots and stuff was all really good, and the voices really seemed to match the characters (sort of... actually, yeah. Everyone but DK)
