That's one of the few Disney movies I ever owned. I watched very few also. Perhaps it was because I was browsing for internet porn in second grade that I found Disney movies to be childish. I still am not a fan of them, really. I mean half are rip offs of classic tales, and far too many have famous actors doing the voice work, way too mainstream for my taste.

If you guys ever want to impress girls(not necessarily drunk, but it helps) then you should sing the song from Monty Python, that Zazu sings in the cage of bones, with a British accent. Most girls don't even know its from Monty Python and refer to it as the Loin King song, or the song from the Loin King. I'm sure its a lot less impressive if you're in the UK at the time, but over here in the states it's considered quite impressive for some reason.

I always thought it was "there" not "here".
Also you forgot the "bump bump bump"...

Big ones, small ones, some as big as your 'ead, give it a twist, a flick of the wrist. That's what the showman said.

I always start to repeat the song for about two seconds before I announce that the song repeats for those who don't know.

Either way, you Brits(along with South Africans, Australians, New Zealanders, and even Scotts, Welsh, and Irish) are all pretty lucky. Anything you say melts American women like butter. While if I went over to England, or anywhere else for that matter, no body would give a damn if I said shit.

My Epiphone SG arrived today.
I have NO idea how to play it... The poor thing probably doesn't deserve whatever it did in a past life to wind up with me as it's owner.

I can play the first part of Twnkle Twinkle though... though that's a fair step away from what I actually want to learn to play. Apparently I'm meant to practice daily on this thing (same with my drums) to start getting good at it...

My brother, however, its learning an entire setlist based on GnR and Megadeth. Swarmy goit normally beats me on Guitar Hero as well...

Like True, I need as much help as people are willing to dish out for this one

I was considering not including the last three mostly because those three places are part of the UK but most people consider a British accent to be an English accent. I mean girls might not be as excited about some guy with a Scottish accent but I'd wager most girls wouldn't know the difference(at least in America).

Disney Animations

All the classic movies are great, but the new crap is terrible. I liked Lion King, Bambi, Snow White, and the classic Mickey Mouse toons, from the original 30s up to the 90s. Afterwards Disney went down hill, fast.

Whoa its me!

Helllppp
I just had a double moniter set up.. Only now i dont. I had all my actionscript, properties, colours, tool bar, time line etc on the other moniter.
Flash has left them behind on the other moniter lol. It says theyre active ( they have a tick next to them) Just not on my screen anymore. lol

So just a quick question, how do i reset the tool bars etc to the standard?

There was talk a while back of setting up a lounge where Audio Artists could meet up with Flash Artists and talk about either side asking the other for support... so the Flashers could request specific tracks (or help finding them on the Portal), and the Musicians could try to wrangle some animators or scriptors into turning thier sounds into music videos and the basis for games...

But that fell through. Might have to visit the Audio lounge though.

I made a thread like that almost a year ago or so, had no replys in there O_o it probably sucked :)

But hey, it'd definitley be awsome if flashers and audio duderz could be arsed to pop in and visit each others lounge. Why the hell aren't ppl doing that more? :D

Disney
I remember I saw a movie when I was like, 6, I'm not sure of the name, it was about a fox and a dog who were friends as puppies but when they grew up the hound was meant to kill the fox.... I cried when i wathced it, and i have never seen it again.
My favorite is The lion king, i grew with it, and I agree on how Disney's classics are the good one, tho some of them are rip-offs of classic stories (Atlantis, Tarzan, Alice in Wonderland.....) which they claime as own.
Now all movies are 3D and family comedy.

Audio Portal VS Flash Regs

To be truely honest, I have been to the audio portal maybe, 10 times.. ever..

reasons:
to 5 someones work on request
random browsing
looking for a tune for Phantasmagoria 1-3

... yea thats it..

if i want music i usually have it befor ei do an aniamtion.. and if not, i'll look through my playlist, failing that or wanting somehting origonal, i'll ask DJ Runaway to make me something.

:)

I fail :(?

Not nessecarily, it's just very sad to see that people can't recognize the importance of good audio in flash/movies/whatever.

For example, what would Half-Life 2 be without excellent sound? What would Lord of the Rings be without superb sound? As for flash on this site, mainly from amateurs, how much better can it be with a good sound set? How much more unique would it be?

Bands

Anyone here in a band? I've been in a band with three of my friends for like 3-4 years. Yesterday we recorded a song on our own so you can hear what we sound like. Excuse the shitty vocals, I suck at singing. We had a real singer but he left so now I'm stuck with vocals and rythm guitar. If you live the New York/New Jersey area and can sing, contact me, haha. The song is on our MySpace: http://myspace.com/digamenj
Tell me what you think. Also, if you're in a band of your own, share your music!

LIES!
LOTR rocks. (12 hours extended)

To the audio forumers here:
Do you think someone would be willing to make the main lotr theme in heavy metal stylings? is that the sort of request that would be answered or would they tell me to fuck off?
I always thought it would sound cool on electric guitar.

I didn't mind the vocals, but they could NOT sound like you're in another world :)

I liked the bass very muchness.

I was in a band for a short time but I was the only person who could play drums n' keyboard, and silly me I decided "hey let's use them both". I forgot that we couldn't ever play live ever, lolz.

Funny thing is, I've dropped both those instruments and picked up guitar. lol

In the beginning it almost sounded a little like Mars Volta but once the vocals started it just reminded me of Blink182 which forced me to lawl.

I've been asked to join bands while people were forming them twice and I still don't know how to play an instrument, but both times it was more of a funny idea.

Don't insult Half Life 2, the game is amazing and I won't hear otherwise.

Get a barrel or a box, make tower, jump out of level. If not enough for tower, jumpgrab the top object and fly out level.

How to beat game: follow the linear path, stop randomly for loading time or 'cutscene', continue.

This is made harder by the huge amounts of slow down/jumping and the random gltich that can be fatal (hey jump onto this object, and die?)

I'm in a band but it's just me on guitar and my mate singing we don't have a drummer or bassist but we've been doing acoustic gigs for now doing pretty well covering songs and are own songs still can't wait till we get drums and bass as well though.
