Well it doesnt matter anyway, im just one person stating an opinion.. its not gonna change the cosmos of the universe or anything.. maybe theres some people who really benefit and vote differently when they know they should show some mercy.

Anyway theres no 'rules' for it... i think that if you know that the terms and conditions in which you completed are vital to the project then yea.. like for when the time trials started off (back when they were actually time sensitive) i think it made sense for people to mention how they were fighting against time and all this other crap because thats the point of the series to like defy time constraints ya know? Or maybe in your project the short time frame really plays an important role... im just saying that in delta's game ... knowing how long he did or didnt take is irrelevant and he could have made a note about it in the game description on his entry rather than interrupting my experience.

Do you have anything against that at all?

"Hai guyz. I did dis in 14 hrs for a projekt at school, and decided to submit it. It's not finished, so be fiar. Vote Fifen!"

Not implying you're like the regular blambait, but should I be considerate and "fiar"(sic) to someone like that if I'm going to be fair to you for submitting something you worked your fingers to the bone for a contest? Naturally, what you can do in fourteen hours is going to be of a better quality than someone whos work is from the Metoo school and that'd be the major influence on me voting (hell, it'll probably be better than what I can do in 14 months), but asking for consideration or pity because you limited yourself to a time limit isn't going to get on iota of either from me...

Delta cont.

ON A POSITIVE NOTE: I do like that he started over and went through countless revisions.. i think its something important for flash artists and game devs to do.. i know many people that will 'marry' an idea even if they dont feel that strongly about it or they will force it because they are so deep in.. i think that its great when you can really detach yourself from the emotional distress and just be really honest with your work and just start over if you feel you need to.. or tear down considerable chunks for the solution that feels RIGHT.

so props on that.

Hehehe.

Cheers for that info! Removes that slight niggle from my mind.

I've been really impressed with the response to my questions. Will hopefully go ahead. (It's paper-based stuff they want btw, nothing to do with Flash.)

You guys are way behind the times!

global warming
Energy conservation has little to no ill-effects and it may have great benefits.

I suppose in a way that's the same argument for religion -better to make a little effort and possibly avoid damnation(catastrophe).

Worriesome debunking.

Global Warming

Thats not true. Energy conservation is a real bitch if you have to abide by these new regulations that either eliminate your business or drive costs up that are passed on to the consumer.

I suppose in a way that's the same argument for religion -better to make a little effort and possibly avoid damnation(catastrophe).

That is a hilarious statement. Global warming may not exist but just in case we might as well start limiting our CO2 emissions and while we're at it, god may exist so we better go to church once and a while to keep up appearances. Vampires might exist too, so I better start bring cloves of garlic where-ever I go.

You can't base your life around maybe.

It's a maybe based on the amount of evidence I guess. I have seen anything that's made me want to believe in God so Im not gonna go to church because maybe he does exist. Ive seen no information to suggest vampires may exist so I aint gonna hang garlic around my neck and carry a stake. I have seen things indicating Global warming exists and is a threat so maybe I'll do something about it.

I wrote that from my perspective but really i'm not gonna do jack shit for the environment

I'm of the opinion that we're pretty much fucked whatever, nevermind. If I ever become really really rich and get cancer, I'm gonna buy a nuke, sink it into the arctic and detonate. Then (hopefully) the ice cap will break up and thus melt faster. I may need more than one.

OMFG GLOBAL WARMING
I'm just gonna copy and paste something I posted in one of the billion global warmingthreads saying it was bullshit.

What will happen is that over time, our continuous addition of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere will add up over DECADES to raise the temperature enough to do any heavy damage. (A side note, methane from Cow Farts is a leading contributor. Just a fun fact)

Also, O-zone gases are being destroyed by pollution we are putting into the air, mainly Clx (Chlorine) compounds and NOx (Nitrous Oxide) compounds. Though the reaction of UVC rays and diatomic Oxygen is constant, the rising number of people means rising number of pollutants being pushed into the atmosphere, which increases the reactions destroying the O-zone as well.

Right now, it is not the prime time for O-zone hole worrying; it's not the right season. The hole in the arctic is being hidden by the stratospheric clouds and all the crap going on in the Antarctic.

Plus, if you bitches want to complain, the only REAL problem we have is more holes forming.

Evidence has show a hole beginning to form over Europe and a 10% decrease in O-Zone levels over the US.

While greenhouse gases are a problem, it has NOTHING to do with the O-zone shield (It's not technically a "layer", so to speak, more of a concentration).

I think that pretty much covers it. And yes, I am credible, seeing as how we just finished going over this in my AP Environmental class, which I am acing.

Hole in the Ozone

First, I'd just like to say that where holes in the ozone layer occur is due to wind patterns. For example, the pollution from the Chicago area is responsible for the decreased ozone over the New Jersey area.

Unlike global warming, this is actually something that could use some consideration. Its not really a big problem though, the ozone layer will heal itself over time.

I felt like it was a really big success even though it got no recognition. I didn't care for the lack of frontpage or awards.

I see alot of flash out there and if you really look, you can see a bunch of internet wannabes. And they usually make up a story or something when even they know the toon/game lacks alot.

I think its fair to like say "Took 3 hours to make, enjoy!" but when your like "it took 3 hours to make and I was under strict rules and its not done, fifen!!!!!!". A little info on development is good because some may find it interesting, but when you go into making excuses for lack of effort and work, that seems desperate...

Hair Cuts

This has to be the most weirdest thing I have to talk about. But my hair has been frowing and I think it may be time for a hair cut. But my hair has grown to me and it makes my image. I just don't know if I should cut it or not.

I usually get it trimmed every now and than, I recently got it trimmed in February but it's growing out again. I never fully get it cut anymore.

Has anyone ever grow attached to something that you don't want to get rid of? Like ...really weird things, like my hair and I. :[

Real Men Have Long Hair

A few years ago I kinda just stopped getting haircuts. At least regular ones. I get about one or two a year and my hair hasn't been under chin length in like...3-4 years?

Get a haircut, hippie

I used to have long hair, down to my mouth. Then, I cut it... I cut it very short. I felt so free and I promised myself never to let my hair grow that long again. Plus I just looked like a dork with long hair. Some people can make long hair work, but if you can't, I advise you to cut it.

Global Warming

Stop talking about this.

Why is Delta so awesome

I can't get enough of it...

...that was a lie, 4 levels down and I got bored...and it kept kind of repeating its self. But, all in all it is a fantastic game. I am an absolute sucker for anything physics related, if a game has a slick rag doll sys. or a totally rockin' brown blob that swims and floats and bounces and everything physically naturally...then I'm down. I loved it. Just work on the arts and the puzzles and you will be a God among men. Keep it up bro.

Long Hair

I used to get complimented on my hair all the time. Now its like the norm or something, or it got worse, no idea. Either way, when I get drunk and start rambling bullshit to women along the lines of "I know you find me attractive" they will follow up with things like "well, you have really nice hair" and at first that didn't bother me. Then I started to realize, I may have nice hair but apparently the rest of me isn't that great.

Cursing

I agree that only losers use the word cussing.

Maybe, I should get a haircut, but my hair looks corny all short. I used to get it all shaved. The Buzz-Cut and I used to talk nice long walks on the beach as the wind never messed a piece of hair on my scalp. All because, it was so short of course. ahah. I like my hair long, even though it's a pest to keep it looking good when wind blows by and messes it up; or just in the morning with my bed-hair.

I agree --- HelmetHead is my new nickname. :)

Well, some digg short hair, but about 99.9% of the girl population love guys with long hair. It's the new fad these days. No girls like you for personality anymore..they just say "he has some hott hair." and now you're lucky for life.

I just like long hair on me personally. Not, because chicks "digg" it.

Honestly, it's the same for me. I'm known for my long hair now, and I look back and see myself with short hair and I just laugh at how lame I look. But I gurantee, someone's laughing at me thinking "wow, that kid's lame with that long hair..." Oh well.

Are you saying I'm stereotypical? I'm the complete opposite. Believe me.

Ehh Nah. I wasn't saying you're stereotypical. I'm just saying in general. Mostly everything in this world is a stereotype. I was called "emo" numerous times because my hair was long.

Rather than getting a hair cut meaning a big cut like a crew cut, I'll probably always get it trimmed for now on.

Me getting a hair cut is like Luis growing pubes.
It's not gonna happen.

I get called 'emo' at least 4 times a day... My hair is long and dark, I listen to metal (you wouldn't believe how many people get metal and emo mixed up, they're complete opposites) and I'm a fairly angry person. To go along with that my friends like to yell at each other as loud as possible, then crack up laughing.
