Well poopie on you.
Congrats on your 5K if I'm not on to say it when it happens ;)
Does anyone know how long before Flash 9 is released so I can get some AS3 books? Kthx.
AS3 is fully available, in Flash too. The rest of Flash9 is coming spring or sometime.
Problem is there isn't much AS3 documentary yet, so I find it hard to learn (especially as I'm so used to AS2 now)
Yeah, but they don't exactly make it an easy read :/
You have to kind of dig around in it...

Hi there!
Deal or no deal
I just carried out a BBS version of Deal or no deal in the general forum:
Box selection
Game
It's just ended, and turned out quite well. The winner got £6 out of a possible £10 (of my money).
This got me thinking: if we got everyone who wants to play to donate money to the total money, there could be a top prize of a few 100 dollars, and it could turn out quite exciting.
Since barely anyone in the general forum has any money in paypal, but quite few people on the flash forum do (from sponsoring and ads), perhaps this could be a flash forum specific event.
If we had a $10 entry fee, and 20 boxes, there would be a total prize of $200, not bad for a silly game.
However, as if the winner only wins a penny, ther ewould still be $199.99 left in the bankers paypal account, I think we should have an "all money must go" policy. At the end of the game, we order people up in order of value of their original box (from lowest to highest), and split the remaining money up respectively. (So people with higher box values get more money than people with lower box values).
Just an idea, and think it could get interesting. (I wouldn't want to be banker though, I don't like the idea ofhaving $200 of other peoples money in my paypal account).
Would anyone be interested?

Sounds like a cool idea, not something I'd participate in though as I dont have PayPal. I'd still watch though. Although I feel slightly depressed in that I'm probably the only person on modern Earth who hasnt seen the show. Care to write a quick summary of how to play? pleeease :)

Cool Book
Been reading this book, its a very entertaining book to read when you are taking a dump. Its also quite educational. I recommend it.

I dunno, from what I've seen in the movies a Shot Gun will haul zombie ass to a mass scale. So when the Zombies come I'll bust into the Outdoor world store and take a shot gun and as many rounds my pockets, back-pack, the back of a pick up truck, and a hockey equipment bag can hold. And some Zomb-Eeze. Lots of Zomb-Eeze, and Fruit by the foots.
Lmfao, so true. It really is the perfect book to read while taking a dump. Brilliant!

Dude, I grew up on Resident Evil. That's as prepared as you need to be. You can read up on all the theory you want, but I'm telling you, when it comes down to it, you're going to want some practical experience to back it up with. For instance, it might not sound like a good idea, but you ALWAYS want to split up and go solo every chance you get, and as much as you might think a good shotgun blast to that flimsy wooden door will open it, that thing's going to be shut tight till you manage to find the Spade key hidden in the drain on the roof.
Now, what's that book got to say about towns shrouded in darkness by satanic cults that like to burn little girls? That's the shit you really got to worry about.
Think I'm going to have to get that book though. I've seen it so many times at Barnes and Noble too.
Anyone read "On Bullshit?"
The Great Sig War
I have to say, I'm quite enjoying it. This is only the second one I've been in, but, goddamn they're fun ^o^
The Big Meet

Probably a good idea. That way people on my side of the world can meet up at Comic Con, and you guys can have your own shindig nearly 13 timezones away.
Ugh, I am perfectly in the middle...Connecticut. What's wrong with New York? Why is everybody in England...
Luis and other people from the New Englandish area are going to have a more rockin' meet up than you can even know...unless goes goes to England with you all...then he's not invited.
Youngin's
What qualifies a youngin'? I can't drink legally in the US, but that sure as hell isn't going to stop me...or do you mean peepz that just don't drink? gross.

Luis told me that he says 'youngin' because as a mod hes an authority figure and has to be politically correct about not endorsing underage drinking.. however in real life he could care less. If you want to be rebelious go for it, be a rockstar.

Yeah, same problem here.Comic-con sounds totally the shit. I plan on going when I'm older.
But I would definitely go to a PA meet up, and I know that a lot of people would probably go to one near Philly. I thought about organizing one, but, I'll wait a little while on that too.
Also, Luis, just because some of us aren't "of the legal age" doesn't mean we aren't fun, ex. I am fun by German law, hence, I live by German law.
Comic Con
Heh, just so you guys know what you might be in for if you come to San Diego this year, a couple pics from '06... Sometimes, stereotypes exist for a reason! XD
