But Toast i dunno about you but sometimes in my dreams i have full control over them and sometimes i can have conversations with people not using memories but more like visual representation of thoughts...
It gets better. I took a shitload of acid brain-drugs and it knocked me out in like ten minutes, and in reference to that I had a dream where a bunch of smart people wanted to hunt me down to blow me up to prevent the world from imploding, the middle of the dream I don't remember too well but in the end they gave me some kind of drugs that would seperate me from my brain and then I remember waiting as my brain started overclocking and I observed how particles move around me (in reference to Dust, probably) and then I had a brainquake feeling and it looked like the world was collapsing though everyone just stood and watched, and then it stopped and I felt like a tingley feeling consuming my senses and I was trying to see, but everything lost shape and color and it reduced to blackness, the next thing I knew was that I could see fine and I felt like I had woken up and was 'phew!' but then I saw it was still a dream, just without me there, and after that I knew the world was starting to implode and then stars fell in a consuming blur, and there wasn't anything left, and then I popped out in my bed.

Work is good. Working on Flash for a living is very good. Especially for the pay I'll be getting
Not having the net at home is not good, because I can't come here and pester you lot. Not being able to get Virgin Media (formerly NTL) to install broadband because they only install when I'm at work is bad.

No, it doesn't mean anything, but there it is. I can quite easily tell symbolic meanings, watch some (really childish) cartoons and see.

Armor games
Basically a site called lord bing was found. It was a complete rip off of newgrounds and had lots of ng content stolen and put on it. The ng community found it their duty to spam the forums etc, the owner of lordbling.com then closed it down. It was soon found that the owner was armorgames. He and mindchamber had a big brawl and mindchamber told him to "suck his dick".
The general forum now has no respect for inglor. :(:(:(

It sounds like quite a stupid thing to do. Especially from someone who already owns a sucessful site. Surely if he was going to delibrately copy a site, he'd make it more discreet than how everyone was describing it.

Age is not a strict term. Someone like Toast can easily offer a better opinion than most sixteen-year-olds.

Still, simply using the same colour scheme as another website is a pretty weak argument for the level of spam and crap through that thread. And the headers don't look that much similar apart from the fact that the sky is orange and the background is a black shadow.
Does anyone have an archived version of it or something?

That's what i was thinking earlier but then what about the movies? I think that if the games are sponsored by AG they can be on there because AG gets distributing rights for the games they sponsor.

I am not going to comment too much on the situation at hand, since I am both a NG Mod and an Armor Games employee, but I feel like I should say something. I have gotten nearly 20 people coming online to ask me what's going on since yesterday, I would like to make the flash forum announcement that there were some shit that went down yesterday that probably shouldn't have. No, he didn't tell me to write this, and no, I didn't write this to make me look better to my boss or Newgrounds. This is just my personal opinion from what I have experienced.
Dan was in no way trying to steal Newgrounds. The site was designed independently from a website developer, and somehow it escaped design Quality Assurance when it got to Armor and was put up for testing. The site was still in a good bit of development, so it wasn't a complete project either.... there was still plenty of changes being made to the site. But there was people crying foul play already when the thread came up yesterday, so Dan took the site down, as much as NG users thought this was a "war" and a "battle against Newgrounds". Dan apologized for this mistake to everyone, but people found it in their hearts to create an enemy out of Dan, regardless of his contributions to Newgrounds and his support of the Flash community.
But why would Dan want to steal Newgrounds? Armor Games and Newgrounds have always had a good relationship. Both support the Flash community, and both feed each other content. There's no better way to drive traffic from one another. Armor Games is the #1 affiliate on the network. Newgrounds and Armor came together for a contest last Christmas. It's a relationship that really had no reason to be compromised by Dan.
All I am trying to say is to be a bit more critical of the situation than what it stated on that thread. I am saying this as knowing Dan personally and because there have been several other threads that erupted past the point of validity before on General. I feel like we made a mistake, but at the same time, it wasn't right for this kind of attack to happen.
I really wanted to stay out of this mess, but it looks like I can't with everyone being all "OMG lets attack LB like Ebaums!" I don't understand why people need something to hate to make themselves feel like they are part of something.
In all honestly, I was hoping the Flash forum would stay out of this. This seemed like a General forum kind of drama, and was hoping that like the General forum today, we could move on to something else besides bashing Dan.

I agree with you about the fact that NG and AG have helped out each other out with traffic as well as the fact they both contribute alot to the community. The people in the General forum love drama. Personally, I don't care about sites that try to rip-off NG [Not that i'm saying LB did]. They may look like NG but they never will be and most likely won't even get popular and if they did get popular it would be because of negative attention.

Well I read something in the thread about Decline or something like that being there, but as far as I'm aware AG and the SFB are totally cool with each other. I can't really form an opinion without seeing the site, but so far it looks like a lot of the NG community are being total arses about it.

I really am disappointed with how fast people demonised him for it. I know from personal experience how awesome Dan is when it comes to Flash artists and things, and I'd think the least Newgrounds could do for him given all that he's done is allow him to give an explaination without getting flamed to buggery.

It's the hysteria about Flash-stealing sites that's still with us. I hate people who make profit off of other peoples work without permission or even contacting them as much as anyone, but there's nothing to be gained from simply resorting to childish spam, especially when you don't even come close to knowing the full story.

I agree with John. Dan has given a lot to NG and AG is a great affiliate. I've never seen anything but total honesty from Dan and AG, so i've got no reason to doubt them.

I'm not trying to blame AG, i think they're great and stuff, but in all fairness whoever came up with the layout and graphics ideas are a bit stupid.

I think its stupid how everyone jumped to conclusions assuming it was Dan, but the designer of the site and layout (hope its no one i know) needs to be looked at by someone with a white coat. Did he honestly think no one would notice?
That being said, i feel really sorry for AG for the bad publicity this has given them, and hope it all clears out soon.

Yeah, Everyone jumped on Dan. Its not like he designed it. People should go the guy that designed the site.
