Judaism is a society as well as a religion. You are either Jewish or non-Jewish talking in a religious sense, but an athiest could still be half Jewish. It annoys me too, and i personally think it takes away a lot of the meaning of being religeous, but thats their loss i suppose.
Or maybe it just means he has half a foreskin.

Well let's put it this way: My father is jewish, my mother is catholic. Normally I'm neither of those since my mom needs to be a jew for me to be jewish, and my dad needs to be catholic for me to be catholic... But I really don't feel catholic AT ALL cause I grew up in Israel in a jewish family, although we didn't do all the prayers and stuff. I don't believe in god, but I do like Judaism.

While we're on the subject, it really pisses me off that a lot of people seem to think that they have a unique right to be offended by Naziism because they're Jewish. I mean, unless you were old enough to know personally someone who was killed in the holocaust (whick you're clearly not, you little toddler) then you've no more right to be appaled at genocide and mass murder than any other person.
It always seems a little hypocritical when people act like they've more right to be appaled by a racist regime because, basically, of their race.

I was born in Jerusalem and then moved to Tel aviv, where I lived my next 10 years. Then, 3 years ago, I moved to France (reeeally bad decision from my mom) and now I'm stuck with people who stink and don't have a sense of humour. The way socialism works here is horrible, you barely never go to someone's house and it's all like polite and boring.

I agree totally. While we're on the topic of the holocaust though, another thing that annoys me about it is how everyone seems to think WWII was about Hitler killing the Jews. That wasn't it at all. It was about Hitler invading people. Everyone hated the Jews back then. We knew excactly where the concentration camps were, so why didn't we destroy them? Because we didn't care.
It really annoys me how loads of people seem to think Germany was the only Jew hating country. Sure it's bad what they did, but the rest of the world is just as much to blame for not stopping it.

It's not anti-semitical to point out that people used to be racist bastards >.< People were crappy to each other in the past, as recently as half a century or less ago. They were especially crappy to people who fit into groups that they had an excuse to be racist towards, and it's a fact that most of the world was all hunky dory with Hitler's racist policies untill it looked like he might start invading their own countries or dragging them into another war.
The general public may not have known about the concentration camps, but they were pretty cool with all of the less extreme examples of segregation and prejudice.

I'm not being antisemitic at all. Ok, saying everyone hated the Jews was OTT, but to a certain extent it was true. The locations of the concentration camps were known. It was in the power of other countries to destroy them, but they chose not to. The opinion of jews in those days were low due to government propaganda and stereotypes. Think about it, if everyone was so keen on helping the Jews, how come when they fleed to other countries, they weren;t welcomed and still had to go in hiding. Sorry if i'm offending you, but i'm not being anti-semitic, just facing facts. I just think its wrong how everyone shifts the blame on Germany. Sure, they're the ones who took action against the Jews, but we did nothing to stop it, and should be ashamed of that instead of just blaming Germany.

Yes, it would be mainly the rock throwers fault, but if it was in the friends ability to stop the action from happening, he too must accept some of the responsibility. Haven't you read 'an inspector calls'? The americans and British came to stop the war because of their treaties. To stop Germany from invading any other countries, and stop Hitler fullfilling his aims to conquer Europe and the world. I'm sorry to inform you, but they didn't come to rescue the Jews.

Kinda wish i had gone to uni instead of taking a year out to do.. well.. nothing.

I was emailed by this company, SMC or something, several times about this. They said all I had to do was register, submit my file, and it would automatically convert to a cellphone game (that's the summed up version).
However, I said no, and I didn't feel it was legit, at all. I didn't like the feeling of giving out my home address and secure information on a registration form for something I may or may not do. Either way, looked fake, sounded like bull.
I told the guy no and they kept emailing me several times after...

Nah, i reckon phone technology will slowly deteriateand eventually it'll become cool to go retro and have a black and white phone which just makes phone calls. Meanwhile, the iPods will be the things getting all the new gadgets and games and stuff. Ipods have evolved far quicker than mobile phones. I reckon, they'll just end up as multimedia devices. You'll have your phone in one pocket which just makes phone calls, and your 500GB harddrive multimedia device in your other pocket for everything else.
