Yeah, i was just joking :D. I liek idea, and I'd participate (though i suck), you don't have to give away cash :P.
HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!

Well the official ones didn't fail. I don't see why an animator bot war would fail.

The less advanced animators go with the more advanced coders.
Yeah, thats what i was thinking of.
I guess that'd be the only way for it to be fair, although in practice. Would probobally make little difference (:
I think it would be funny seeing defrag trying to teach someone trigonometry and pythagoras.

Pythag isn't hard to get your head around, now trig, that'd be hard to teach to a 13 year old with no AS knowledge :P.

I tried teaching an 11 year old pythag. Not as easy as it looks.

I agree. We learnt pyth a few weeks ago at school, and just after one hour I understood more than the rest of the class will understand in a year, and all that is thanks to AS. Children who do any sort of programming just live in that world, it's like re-learning a language you knew 10 years ago but you forgot half of it.
reg collab
I think it would be a great idea, i love all these communitie things going round at the moment.
I think the best would be to save as MX, the majority has it and flash 8 can open mx files.
So im up for it. Anyone else?

Want me to teach you big boy maths, so your friends will think you're cool?

yes.

I might be, I just need exact specs and a good time frame :D
yes.
Way to contribute to the Flash Forum with useful posts, Toast.

I hait what you just said, it's so silly. Just because I said 'yes' and not 'Yeah cybex, I'd like to learn some trig from you. PM me or something' it's considered as an unuseful/spammy post? Grrargh.

Is his the theory which applies to right-angled triangles when working out the hypotenuse?
a^2 + b^2 = hyp^2?
Yup, that's the one.
Queers of war
lol, yeah, it was really good.

Yeah I have a feeling he'll stick to programming.
RE: Pythag
Thats pretty basic stuff, but when you get into triangles without a right angle, then you gots SOH CAH TOA and sine law and cosine law, and the list goes on...
RE: Queers of war
That was pretty gay. And funny, but mostly gay. lols...
Hi there!

Ten author spots now?
Or just because of this special occasion
i assume it was an admin only one time thing.
Reg Pass the Flash
Tis wouldn't be such a bad idea, somebody should be in charge of making it always in MX format so everyone can use it. People will just have to save as low as they can and pass it to someone who can make it in MX format.
Queers of War
Stampers wasn't gay :(
But it was good and worth watching.
Animators ASing and ASers animating
I reckon no-one would cheat because where is the fun in that? Plus the animators would gain from learning some AS, but it might not work for me because I'm using MX.
Re: Queers of War
When I was on earlier, I saw Queers of War next to a submission entitled Queers o' War right after it. I mean, the submission times would have been only, at most, 10 minutes apart. Coinincidence? BTW they were both past judgement.
DVD?
How do you put a Flash movie on a DVD? You just slap it on as a swf, or what?
Youtube is pissing me off, it won't let me load a clip.
I hadn't seen Akira in years, so I decided to watch it again. saince I can't find the VHS of it, presumably lost when my parents divorced years ago, I decided to watch it on YouTube in 13 parts. Now for some weird reason Part 6 won't load for me....
I even restarted my comp and tried with 3 different browsers....
Akira
Great movie, why didn't you just buy it on DVD?
Tattoo
I've been avoiding posting since Luis said: "pics or it didn't happen". I haven't had a chance to get anyone to take a picture yet...

Yeah, I probably haven't gotten to it yet. I haven't seen the movie since I was a kid, but suddenly felt the urge to watch it after watching Steamboy on the World Movie channel the other day.
Yeah I should buy the DVD, do it when I get the dosh

Not always:
a/sin A = b/ sin B = c/sin C - works for any triangle
a^2 = b^2+c^2-2bc sin A - works for any triangle.

RE: co auther
yay now you get co auther unless your shit and i am not si i probobly will get co auther in collabs =]
regcollab/ regline
are we gonna do this at some point ;)?
btw, pass the fla needs to be in 3 parts for flash 6,7 and 8... sometimes if a flash 7 saves as 6 some symbols don't work correctly and the mvoei can become curropted ;)
wanna help me out ;)?
Righto, the Boulevard of Broken songs collab has been open for the past few months and there are still free parts left due to people vanishing and i was wondering if any of you guys in here wanna take one of the few parts left.
parts left:
12,16,17,20,23,25
most parts are only about 4 or so seconds long.
hope some of you can help get this collab finished cuz it's been soo bloody long since it started :D!
Thanx in advance ;)

Out of interest, did anyone else get contacted? I'm guessing John may have? Anyway, here's a cut down version.
I notice that you were actively involved in The Tutorial Collab ‘06 in the online community Newgrounds. Would you be willing to be interviewed about your experiences? For more information, please visit this website: http://www.cc.gatech.edu/~luther/cc/ccinfo.ht ml. Thank you for your time!

That's awesome! You should definitely do the interview :)
