Its not really bitching though. I mean people like me thrive on the thrill of a deadline. How respectable is a contest when the people running the contest totally blow the deadline?

I dont expect tom to 'wait' for me when he runs his contests. If i blow the deadline i have nobody to blame but myself. I think AG should have just stuck to its rules and been hardasses about it when so much is on the line. Its more professional and just looks better overall.

At any rate, that topic can be dead now, at the end of the day if you want to persue making games for AG thats great and if not then thats fine too. I'm sure they arent going to lose sleep over it and you shouldnt either.

In their defense, the game was submitted late but it still needed to have the judgment period before it was counted and they got a day less than everyone else from what i have seen game scores tend to eventually lead somewhere and when you are out of the 3 day period after a game is released scores tend to go up from you voting 5 and getting friends to vote 5 for it which they would have missed out on... unless it is FP, wins an award or is put in a collection most submissions get no publicity after its danced off the p-bot posting

Yeah, you can get a pretty good looking 3D effect by doing a rotation tween on an object, then flattening the tween with _x scaling or skews. That's what I find, anyway.

There's quite lots of cool things you can do by manipulating tweens just takes a matter of playing around with them.

It's because I learn about "Visual Communication" at Uni. Every week we're told about how great all art is, and shown videos on how massively important cave drawings are in relation to civilisation etc.

And do a section on "Why abstact art sucks" too. The best example of it sucking is Kazimir Malevich. Whos works include Black Circle and Black Square, both painted in 1913. Malevich was obviously a genius beyond comparison.

gargh! i made a code thing that takes an image and 'extrudes' it like a year ago! D:< it's right HERE! the left and right arrow keys rotate it, up and down scales it (i was just goofing around with the code, so, meh), and Z and X change the image.

Wii Browser
Well people, I'm typing this from my Nintendo Wii using the trial of the Opera browser thing.

It's worrying me. The auto-keyboard is nowhere near as easy to use as I hoped it would be, and wiicade.com has a tonne of games that simply don't work... The Wii's Flash version is only 7.0.7.0 according too the version checker at Adobe.
