Bring two pieces of ID to your local job centre, one photographic, then they'll tell you then and there. It's odd that you didn't get a card, I got mine pretty promptly when I was meant to a few years back :S

You should. I believe in you.

I updated fd from out of the beta version, and all of a sudden the GameInput classes were available to me. Previous versions didn't let me access it, and adobe's beta docs say the class is AIR only. But it seems to work.

linky. Of course, it's an 11.7 or 11.8 feature, and of course it doesn't seem to work with pepper flash.

Wowww, yeah. thats awesome. does not work on chrome as you said. I did not think flash player had direct access to a game pad. I am current working on a 2D fighter using C# and XNA game studio. one of the reason was cause flash could not take game pad input directly.

I'm in the pre-stages of a fighting game, so controllers would be kinda cool there. I'd need to make a guide on how to enable it...doubt many people will update flash and disable pepper when they can just use the keyboard. And idk how importing GameInput is handled when you have a prior version of flash, as it wouldn't exist. Hmm...

Unfortunately XNA was discontinued some time ago, though Microsoft has yet to come up with a replacement. I'd try MonoGame if I were you. It seems to be close to what you'd expect, it even uses some XNA stuff.

Well, its not building to XNA framework. it is building to .NET framework 4 Client Profile, but I am using Game studio(XNA) classes that help me take game control input. I tried to register an xbox app hub student account so i could connect to xbox and develop on that, but it was a hassle registering and i accident register a non-student account so I have to pay now if i want to test anything.

I forgot what exactly i download, it was like game studio 3.0 or something. But basically, in Visual Studio 2010 i go to create new project(Visual C#) and there are now different templates. I choose the Windows Game template. now with a connect xbox controller into my PC, I can move an animate character around with the analog stick (that is as far as i got).

Thats cool. And yeah. Heyyy! I Might. The controller thing seemed a lil buggy too. When i minimized screen and maybe i was testing my game my control turned of even tho it plugged in. Then I disconnected it, then i reconnected and it was connected as a second player on xbox controller.

I think you can handle that kind of stuff with ADDED, REMOVED, and UNUSABLE. It was a quick demo so it probably doesn't have any of that.

As if it's that easy. That place is useless. Maybe cause it's only a JobCentre+, maybe I need to go to a JobCentre++?

Normally, I can understand ignant writing, but I can't decipher that.

Trying out some different ui stuff: now, units are mouse disabled and slightly faded when it's time to select a tile. It makes it significantly easier to click a tile behind a sprite; before you had to rotate the display to get to that tile. Idk how to handle obstacles, if those should fade as well or stay visible. It would be weird selecting a tile that's floating in the air (it would look like it belonged farther back), but it'd also look weird the other way too.

In my attempts to put off homework for a while, I decided to start a github as3 tutorial thing. I want to learn how to use github better, I want noobs to learn how to code, and I want to code something that isn't a fucking rpg. I'm open for suggestions: things or features to add, better explanations, etc.

and now back to RC circuits and root-finding with MATLAB

I got an item from ti3 that sold instantly when I put it up...I think I could have at least doubled the price :(

Doesn't matter, bought keys

steam has a cap of 500$ in your steam wallet at a time, otherwise I would have sold this set too http://dota2.gamepedia.com/The_Alpine_Stalker's_Set (each piece is worth like 300-400$ right now, so free games forever i guess, I need to spend whats in my wallet first though)

I've been pretty damn busy, I gotta say.
I'm still running that D&D campaign, which now meets on a weekly basis. The production quality is slowly improving as I start making fancier things and actually start putting together a real schedule and format.
I've created a small blog that focuses on PC gaming news, that's actually been going surprisingly well.
I has a twitter which I use on occasion to shout out nonsensical things.
I got an old Youtube account back with a thousand and a half video views, i'm hoping to take some of that weight and throw it in the general direction of PC let's plays after I get the motherboard in for my new-ish hex-core processor.
I started a Facebook page for egg82 (can you guess the URL?) to help centralize all of the other stuff I have - it's really just going to be used for formatted announcements, which is nice considering i'm doing all of the above.
I created an ad campaign for the Facebook page, which i'm keeping tabs on. I'm getting about what i'm expecting, which isn't a bad thing entirely.
On top of that, i've got college classes which are DUMPING homework on me.
Oh, and I found a girl that wants to have coffee with me :D

None of it's bad, it's just a heck of a lot to keep track of on a daily basis o.o

I feel the jinx taking hold! I must break it!

Meanwhile, kicking it in shared accommodation, reading up on design patterns, agile programming and all sorts of other fancy employable things... and missing out on GTAV ;_; This may very well be the first time in my life I'm genuinely bored, the most fun thing I've got going is I started reading japanese kids manga now that I have a a decent amount of raw vocabulary and basic grammar skills, occasionally confusing and frustrating, but fun.

I know a few people who watched Pororo to get basic spoken Korean down. Do you know if there's a Japanese equivalent that would work in a similar way?
