That said, I have a lot of friends into the everlasting fad (including my girlfriend, who I introduced to the series last year), so I'm still well-versed in a lot of aspects. Sadly my friends who are most into the competitive side of things are still working on Gen 4, so I'm lacking in metagame knowledge.
I do sometimes find it funny how there are a few games which I have hardly played that I know better than some more experienced players. They, however, find it rather sad.

This is the only one at my house right now.
I haven't sanded or stained it or done anything to make it nice because yesterday my derp friend dropped it while making room for the bandsaw and broke the right arm.

I'm currently working on a game for which I am doing the art, programming, and some of the music myself--
I spent the last few hours playing around with my piano and some sheet music software and I'm proud of the result so far. Writing the music myself is very time consuming and it takes away from programming time, but it's far more rewarding than simply choosing a song from the Audio Portal and the soundtrack is going to match the actual game better than music written by someone else.
