Facebook apps, that say I don't have the most recent version of flash player and therefore refuse to run.... when i DO have the most recent version, it just happens to be the Debug version, and for some reason these few apps decide that Debug version 10 /= Release version 10 >:@

You can get flash switcher for firefox, it's still annoying but at least it's only an extra couple of clicks everytime you get stuck. Unless you're debugging a facebook app then you're screwed ;)

Was trying to install a nice pretty dark theme for windows 7 that requires replacing some dll's in windows to allow for much more customisation with windows themes to do so.

So i did that, then tried to restart computer, and get loads of errors in LoginUI.exe about a procedure entry point not being found in KernelBase.dll which has to be clicked like a million times to continue, and of course after manually rebooting i cannot get into windows, EVEN in safe mode.

Thankfully runing safe mode to command prompt worked (After clicking okay on that error about 1 hundred times) and i managed to change the dll's back through command prompt! and all is well now

If i hadn't been able to do that i'd've needed to reformat windows 7 and then request a new serial from uni since i got it through MSDNAA

Turns out i was using a patch for a previous release build of windows 7, which funnily, is the only one i can find on any google search, i had to get into the parent directory of the download to find ones for the most recent builds of window 7, how gay.

time to try again! (and hope that if it doesn't work again, i can still get into command prompt!)

Funny , yesterday i to was noodling around with customising my windows 7, made a mistake and system restored , then i got the themes to work , in the end i decided to just keep everything as it was before except for my start orb ;) ill wait until i find a theme that i really like , so far there arent very many apart from maybe the OSX leopard one

I'm thinking about getting windows 7 for my macbook pro as opposed to vista and xp. I hear things are good for windows 7 but I'm dreading any slowdowns for my already lightspeed startup times...

Windows 7 is great for me so far. Skip vista, XP is all good still too though.
