I don't think there's such a thing as "over-achieving" really. If you're passionate about something,
Bullshit. Working a lot on something you're "passionate" about is one thing, but being an over-achiever at school is something completely different. People don't do their schoolwork because they're passionate about it, they do it because they're jerk-wads who, honestly, don't have many better things to do in life.

True, I don't consider myself an over achiever based on my own values, but on the values of those around me.
Your values are bad and you should feel bad.
I think my work should be the average effort people put into their schoolwork or out-of-school activities. It's unbelievable how little effort people put forth towards their future.
As a burn-out delinquent, I take offense to that, young man. Your work should not be average anything, you just don't realize that besides helping you get a diploma, all the work you do is worthless crap-mucus. You must realize that not everyone has the same view of the world as you. Getting a good diploma so you can later get yourself a nice paying job and live as a reasonably successful man in society? Couldn't really give two shits, and the same goes for other people.
