Dammit, Mike, you leveled up. How will I ever notice you on the forums now?
You look like a woman now, with your shiny, curvy bottle and whatnot.

2No = Yes?

2 wrongs = a right.
3 lefts = a right.
It's wheel's within wheels.

2W = 1R
1R = 2W, therefore doing one thing right equals doing two other things wrong.

A nice cardboard box though. Heated by a dustbin on fire and with 3 compartments.

I didn't introduce myself to Terry but he spoke on the same panel talk (Nuovo Sessions) as Tyler and I, a few short talks after we did

Also , i have a friend who thinks working excessively hard in a project makes him an over achiever.
This again?
Let me clarify something for you. It was for my German II class, which is considered a blowoff class in my school. My class is filled with burnouts and skaters and whatnot, and my teacher assigned us a 48 point comic strip assignment, expecting to get half-assed stick figures with some crappy German scrawled onto the side. That's exactly what she got from most people.
I, however, took the liberty of drawing, scanning, tracing, drawing, and coloring the entire comic strip. I spent over 15 hours on this 48 point assignment which I could easily have aced with a production time of two and a half hours.
I do this for every school project and assignment. If that's not overachieving I don't know what is. Don't be so buttsore about it, Mike. What does it matter to you if I'm an overachiever or not anyway? And what right do you have to bring this argument into the Reg Lounge of all places? If you're pissed at me for some reason, talk to me, instead of going public about it.

What is racism but an excuse for lack of willingness minorities have to move on from the wrongdoings of the past?

That's not overachievement, it's wasting time on school garbage with no value. Ie., you're not actually achieving anything (by doing tasks for entertaining kids with no ability).
Do truly stimulating things, like read a book in German.

Yeah, 'bout that...
I don't think there's such a thing as "over-achieving" really. If you're passionate about something, you improve as you work. If you work super-extra-hard, you just improve that much more. I did a presentation for class the other day, and it was far and away the best presentation of anyone in the group. I even brought in a guitar and sang at the end. Now, it could be LOOKED at as over achieving (I could have gotten an A in my sleep based on what other people did for this) but it helped me with my public speaking, and to have more confidence in my singing in front of others.
I don't even CARE about the grade (if I pass, I'm happy, be it an A or a D) but that kind of experience really helps you later in life.
True, I don't consider myself an over achiever based on my own values, but on the values of those around me. I think my work should be the average effort people put into their schoolwork or out-of-school activities. It's unbelievable how little effort people put forth towards their future.
