What the hell?! My driving test was about 35 minutes, and required backing in a straight line for 30 feet while maintaining 18 inches within the curb, following all the guidelines and rules, and even a curveball, when my driving test guy made me try to switch lanes when there was a guy in my blindspot. I got docked 2 points for going over 10 mph in the parking lot.

I agree with Kirk, alert Glaiel's state for immediate evac.

Yeah, I've heard that. I think it is just a rumour. I can't see why'd they fail people who blatantly passed, just to keep up some target number.

I passed 1st time out! I got 5 minors. Another friend of mine said he didn't get any minors, but that's clearly bollocks.

we still had to take 30 hours of drivers ed, classroom time, and have 6 hours instructed driving and 6 hours driving with a parent before taking the test. I had a lot more than 6 hours with a parent though, a lot more.

I regularly try testing out the ban button glaiel. Im convinced one day it'll go through.
I was actually trying to ban tom yesterday.. thinking some sort of fun animation would take over the screen.. that would have been cool.

Long Hair
I guess this is mostly directed at kirk but considering the sad fact that I feel a lot of people here have long-ish hair its directed at everyone. Its a sad fact because I feel less special.
But on the topic of everyone telling you to get a haircut, for me it seemed like my long hair was a personal insult to some of the people I went to high school with. When I first started not cutting it, everyone would tell me to cut it, friends and enemies alike. Once I started conditioning it regularly and it got to a certain length, all of the sudden all these people thought it was great and wonderful. I would get compliments from girls regularly. Then I guess once people got comfortable with it they stopped complimenting it. I figured by going off to college there would be a whole bunch of people who would compliment me again but its not so much the case. Now that its just the only thing they've known I guess they have nothing to compare it to. I've been told by many that I look much better with longer hair. So once it became a regular thing now only old women, of about 40+ compliment me. I'm not sure why, but its unnerving.
Wii Frenzy - Or Not
I can agree with most people, around these parts I can find a stack of two dozen Wiis if I wanted to. I don't care that much. I might be more excited if it were a stack of PS3s. Not to start any bickering but between two systems each with only one real game worth buying, I would buy the PS3. I mentioned it to my parents but I don't think they are willing to dish out the 600 dollars, to say they could find one. Whats important is that, the PS2 is still outselling all three next gen systems. Lol.
Driver's License
See heres my general problem. Being from New England you can get your license oddly early considering people actually live there. Like, its states that no one lives in that you can traditionally get your license earlier. I live in New Jersey and I couldn't get my restricted license until I was seventeen. It was fairly easy to get but it is pretty necessary (I always spell necessary wrong and spell check thinks I mean carsickness, thats so odd) for day to day living here, unless you live in a major city. The reason the test is so hard in the UK and Europe is because you can get around fairly well with public transportation.
As for the test itself, it is fairly short time wise. From what I recall the list of things needed to do are: Parallel parking, driving under 15 mph, stop at a stop sign, do a K-turn, and some people have to drive backwards. Driving backwards seems so asinine. What purpose is there for this test? As long as you don't turn the wheel why would the car not go back straight? The written test is a joke. I got one question wrong so I got a 96. For some reason the test includes stupid shit about how much you fined if a piece of ice flies off your car and damages someones property. Also, the six hours of driving with an instructor is not necessary for the test. It is optional to lower you insurance. As for six hours of driving with your parents, I've never heard that...even if that were a rule how would they ever know unless you told them?

Christmas

Going my Aunty and Uncles like I do every year. Hopefully my friend will be coming down next week too. He tends to come down for about a week at a time, as he has to get the train down which is about £15 - Gotta get his money's worth.

Dream I had
Pretty off topic but hilarious dream I had. Dreams are boring so I'll keep it short.
Some friends and I were being chased by many members of the flash regs community. The regs were planning to take over the world. Eventually I fought Jmtb02 and killed him, while the rest went off to carry out their plans. He wasn't really fighting though, just explaining his plans in a bond villain type way. Anyway I caved his head in.
No hard feelings, man.

Aims
I would like a job animating, not necessarily in flash but probably in stop motion or 3D, maybe cut out. I would like a job that pays well and gives me opportunity to try different things. I also think I would like to end up directing animation, not just working as an animator.
I have no desire to be a mod, if you offered me the chane I would say no.
I don't really have any long term NG based goals tbh.

essentially this is just a shooting game like Space harrier.

Here are some pong graphics, if anyone would like to AS it, then PM/IM me. I just wanna make a basic pong game, then maybe build on it when it's done.

My original idea was that on each side is a moose, and you have to hit the ball with the mooses antlers. It would of been called 'Moose ball'. I may still do that, but I was getting a bit to over the top

Well, I am soon to call a halt to my game, Santa's Rubix, and then there's the christmas game collab, my part could count as finished now, but then again I could add more to it.

Santa's Rubix has been no struggle at all, unlike my halloween game, which I had to decompile due to a huge corruption in the current file. Santa's Rubix has been fine and a good thing to work on when I need to calm down.

Though I'm still waiting for this guy to finish his song for practice mode, and tomorrow was the set deadline, so I might just loop one of his demos if he doesn't send it by then.

And if anyone's curious: Santa's Rubix is a rapid(ish) game in which you have 5 minutes (may change) to prepare as many toys as possible for christmas.

Things may turn stressful as of Monday: the last week of production, but for now, all I can really do is add more levels and maybe a scoreboard layout with armorbot's new feature :P.
