HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!
Well the only reason I say old one is becuae he's drawn better. You know what I mean?
Make the new one with color and shading. Put the same effort in both.
I am a FAB
Just set my Page File on my external hard-drive to 64GB.
I'm not really accomplishing much, but I'm doing it because I can.
Now you guys are feeling the burn.
I just created an array billions of places big.
Had to end the application though because the processor wasn't handling very well. Plus task manager was starting to run sluggish.
Old one, definitely. Correct anatomy and size isn't always the better option. The style of the first one reminds me of old school RPGs and makes me happy.

I think I am getting better.
What do you guys think of this guy ?
Old one is better for sure. The new character's standing a bit too stiff for fight properly, isn't he? ;p
Merry Christmas, gents!

No, because to develop for the PS3 you need to get a dev-kit, which means registering as a proper games company and putting down the cash for the kit (I'd assume somewhere around $10000).. this is all before you can start to use the dev-kit to see if you can actually do something for it :/ Microsoft have a great system I think, with people being able to develop games for Live Arcade themselves using XNA. I'm not interested in that myself but it's definitely a great initiative.
Sup, bitches :)

Especially you Starogre :)
hahah no problem. I'll tell you now too that the old one fits the game better in my opinion. if the character is going to be small on the screen i'd suggest making the design simpler and smaller to bring out more imagination in the viewer. no reason to make a character so detailed and then shrink it big time. unless you were going to have closeups? i donno i think the old one is more reasonable for where you are going with it. save the detailed one for a boxart or title screen image or something.

Nah man, psp devkit is about 1 thousand and thats it, once you start off small this way, you can work up to ps3... which may be some of my personal plans >__>
:P

PSP dev-kit has had it's price slashed a lot recently, last price I heard was just under $7000 but I'm sure it's been halved or more since then.

the price of any devkit is nothing compared to the time wasting soul crushing process of trying to get approved for a console, or trying to find an interested publisher
