I will after november 1 (IGF submission deadline). I can't risk my game suddenly not working right now

Luis must've gone over to the dark (aka tablet) side then :D
Back problems
I went to see a chiropractor last week, saw the x-rays today, my spine gradually rotates left, and my left pelvic bone is lower than my right one. It seems that it's all correctable, I just need to go in 3 times a week for alignments for 2-4 months.
Has anyone gone to a chiropractor for something similar? and if so how did it go...?

I went to a chiro when I broke my tailbone.
He also told me my shoulders/pelvis were out of alignment. And it's true...mostly due to how I sit at my computer though. I've consciously tried to unshift them back to the right direction and have already seen improvement over the course of a month.
He told me I needed to come in for treatment for a few months, but they all say that no matter what condition you're in...it's their racket.

Yea that makes sense, but I saw the xrays, and the problem was very apparent, and the state my back is in causes me a lot of pain throughout the day, I can't stand for very long before it starts to hurt, and sitting in certain positions is the same way. So I don't doubt I need the treatment. When they told you you should be coming in to get treated you just decided not to and stuck it to the chiropractical man?

Oh god i'm scared to go to a chiro, just because i KNOW that my back is gonna be in a shitty alignment and yeah...
i should get on that >_<

Chiro's will tell you to come back no matter what, its kind of like the Orkin man, where even after fumigating your house they say they need to come back in a few months for follow up.
I would go one or two times and see if you feel better. If you can swing it, you should look into getting an ergonomic computer chair and making sure your work environment is healthy. It sounds lame and i thought so too but it does make a difference.
My issue was with my wrist. I went to a doctor and i was supposed to stop drawing with a mouse and improve my work station ... i did the latter and its been fine so far.
Some shit like pinched nerves in your back DO take alot of ongoing treatment. So they arent always trying to milk you. Also on some insurance plans including college ones it does cover some chiro work. So you may be entitled to go back there without it costing you anything.

Want to link the chair you got? Also what other "healthy" things did you change? I'm sure my set up has had a lot to do with the problem, I think the way I rest my left arm and twist from the right to use the mouse is bad. Also right now my "good" computer chair, which is supposed to be fancy but is awful doesn't slide under my desk enough, so I'm sitting in awkward positions. Getting a new chair and new desk is probably a must at this point.

I'm covered except for a $15 copay, which adds up but isn't bad. From what he told me, my nerves are more like... squished a bit, from the rotating, and my muscles are basically trying push and pull my bones into the right place causing a lot of dull pain.
my dad's a chiropractor, he constantly complains about my posture

No, but first you should start with seeing if you can run a shell on the server. Then see if it has any package installation capabilities, then see if it can install a JVM.

You DO know that you can choose between WASD and arrow keys, right?
Oh and are Luis and the SuperFlashBros left-handed or something?
All this chiropractor talk has got me confused. Whats the one called that looks up vag?
I'm advising everyone away from chiropractors since that whole Simon Singh thing. It essentially amounts to attempting a libel suit against reality.

The lengths you'll go to to avoid a tablet :p

Yeah, I found out some more after that, and it supports Telnet/SSH, and ipkg packages can easily be installed, but the only Java package available was that one =/
I actually got a Hello World-program to work with JamVM trough the shell, yey :P
Here's some good info regarding Java on this CPU, but there are just so many terms I'm not familiar with in that short wiki that I can't determine if it is possible or not...

What do you need the JDK for?
Anyway, you don't necessarily need Smartfox. Write your own server, it'll be lighter. See if you can run Neko on the server too, haXe will scare you less.

I can't remember if I mentioned this already but I get Windows 7 for free from Uni, which is awesome. That includes all versions (3 versions I think? Ultimate, Normal and the one in between.. Professional?) and you just download the ISO from the uni downloads area.. I'm running the RC at the moment but I'll probably "upgrade" when Windows 7 is released properly, or when I can be bothered.
Not as good as getting a free laptop, but hey.. fuck you guys <3

I have no idea I guess, seeing how you ask that question :) I thought it would make it possible to run Java applications.

I think I'm quite far away from being able to do that, I wanted to use SmartFox or similar so that I could concentrate more on the Flash side of things. But I will have it running on my comp for my experiments then I suppose, and perhaps look into writing my own server later on.

It's nothing complicated. I certainly wouldn't consider mucking with Smartfox if I could write my own server.

Hm, seems like you're right. I will take a closer look at that :)
Holy fuck, shipping costs for a Tankmen figurine is almost $30... I thought I was able to buy the figurine with my store credit, turns out only enough to cover the shipping costs. Hmmm... What to buy then...
A typical day in the reg lounge. Gust is helping people with server management and programming issues, while the others discuss vaginas.

You got a problem with vaginas?

Anyone in LA october 1-4 come by and see
