thanks, Dingo. i used "The Wall" in my presentation. it's 2 am here. i am supposed to go to sleep and then wake up in about 4 hours.

i feel sick to my stomach. i don't know if it was something i ate, my nervousness of presenting this, or just stressing out so much. ugh. i feel horrible.

anyway, wish me luck tomor....er, today. i'll be presenting in roughly 5 hours from now.

not very many, a little less than 20.

but the class isn't one of those "class-specific" ones. there's several seniors, a couple juniors, mostly sophmores, and a few freshmen. at least i'm one of the sophmores :P

I never hated presentations. I thought they were an easy way to get an A. Way less work in most cases than say writing a long essay or something.

Even though mentally I was completely calm while I stood in front of the class, I was always physically very nervous, which confused me. My legs would shake (everyone has different "symptoms" of nervousness, my legs shaking is my main one) uncontrollably. Like, really uncontrollably. I used to meditate all the time. I still do, but very rarely. I gained a level of control over my body and mental state. I still couldn't control my limbs. However, this meditation kept me mentally calm as I said, so I was always able to give presentations well and in a calm manner, even if physically I appeared to be nervous.

What are your symptoms of nervousness you guys?

I would rather write a paper anyday over presentations, i've gotten better at making presentations though, when i was in school id like start sweating and stuttering like i dont know what the fucking im talking about... when mentally i know i did.

Is anyone here really good at sound editing?

I've almost given up on that street racing project I was doing because I can't fucking get some engine sounds to sync up with the movie. It's unbelieveably hard to take engine sounds from need for speed and then loop parts together into each other to make it sound good so people don't notice it.

Because people only notice audio like that when it sucks. When it's good, people don't have to think about it.

I used to be nervous too when i had a presentation, especially when i didnt prepare properly. Nowadays in uni i have at least 3 presentations a week for all kinds of subjects. It's all about pretending you know alot and are enthousiastic about the topic, even if it's about ebaumsworld. Hang some pages on the wall, make alot of eye contact and make a couple of corny jokes and it can't go wrong.
