Ok, i'm in.
Don't worry, i'll make it across the U.S. and the Atlantic Ocean within that time.

Haha. When your hand looks like a melting mangina.
My friend said something funny the other day. We were going to a party and he came out with "Whenever I have a house party it just ends up reaking of cum!", and we were just like 'What, it doesn't smell that bad". And then I think he was ranting on how it's all up the walls and shit.
Can you imagine that, like loads of cum piled onto the wall, so much so the wallpaper has started to tear off. NICE

Actually, I can. I can have pics later of it, if you'd like.
I like to call it "art" though.
Hey, can someone help me.
I was considering getting a tablet and I wanted to know what would be a good one to get, in terms of type, name, size, ect. Something cheaper but would be still good to use.
I love ideal but everyone i showed ti to hated it. Black books was awesome.
i just wanted to ask about people's musical tastes.
so, what are all your musical tastes, when it comes to genre? i prefer classic rock (some led zeppelin, but mostly Pink Floyd :D ), alternative rock, mellow rock, and british rock (Coldplay and Doves, mostly). electronic is good, i like trance, space-rock, and, uh...symphonies are always nice to hear. i prefer Chopin.

4 pages... holy moly.
Anyways...
I like Rock, Nu Metal (shutup, k? lol), Metal, and a few rap songs (Fort Minor...) along with all electronica music other than funk.
I like SOME rap. But i mostly listen to r&b and ska [Streetlight Manifesto, Catch 22....etc]. I also like gospel [not christian rock >:C]. I'll listen to pretty much anything.
im stuck on late 80's early 90's rap right now. but my music taste is mood dependent. i like rock that isnt too heavy, but not so emo, i like foreign music alot, theres something cool about listening to someone sing and not knowing what they are saying.. its such a cool thing to hear spoken words and have them be just sounds.. which is why i love it when foreign artists release something on the portal based on foreign tracks.
other things i like include trancish techno when i work, rap when i feel like spending money, classical when im taking a dump and big band when im in the mood for generating ideas for flash movies/collabs.

I hate to do this to you man, but you're going to have to search. I seriouly answered 2 posts in the last few hours on the topic.
Personally, I have a 4x6 intuos3... but they can get pretty pricy.
Get a Graphire. They're cheap and they work well.
ech, i personally can't take rap (although, and you all might HAIT me for it, some of Eminem's stuff is ok, mostly because i can understand what he's saying \: )
now...next question: what music do you listen to while you animate? what about while you program?
i listen to the same things when i animate or program. i really like my music, but listening to abrasive-sounding music (like "Spare Parts Express" by Orbital) somehow helps me. i have no idea why. it works, though \:

odd. i sometimes find that listening to music helps me concentrate \:
for some things, though, i do keep it quiet. mostly when i'm frustrated with Actionscript and changing a song i don't like can get me all worked up.

Lesson 1 - Unplug!
i sing while i animate, that book is the devil.

i like mostly hard rock, nothing classic. Alternative metal, New metal, industrial. and some other stuff. Go NIN!
and to keep my attention, i usually listen to harder stuff when working.

Ok, i'll try that. Thanks!

I'm not a racist... I actually love black people, but I have to say that black people have completely ruined high school english classes.

not just english. just school in general. all, and i mean ALL of the black kids at my school are either "gangsters", obsessed with sports, or druggies.
but yeah, i'm not racist either. :P
The music I listen to is pretty wide. My two favorite bands right now are Tool and The Aquabats. It all depends on my mood, what I'm doing, who I'm with, and even time of day though.
Tool works wonders when I'm programming or doing math homework; it's incredible! AqB when I'm out being an idiot with friends or animating sometimes. And during other times, everything from Judas Priest and Iron Maiden to Phantom of the Opera and Carmina Burana.
D: i'm stressing out here!
i'm making these slides for my pink floyd thing kind of slow. i normally go to sleep in 1 hour (midnight), and i have 4 more to go!
D: i need your guys' help. i need 3 more categories to discuss about them. i have "Pink Floyd's Beginnings" and "Style of Music", and i plan to do a segment on Syd Barrett, his mental decline, his odd return during the recording of "Shine on you Crazy Diamond" and his death. the information on your category should be stuff you could get off of Wikipedia.
At 12/1/06 01:02 AM, Rammer wrote: i need 3 more categories to discuss
i thought of one, "Band Members", telling small descriptions of all the members (or at least the prominent ones).
2 more plz! D:

eh, i didn't find anything on subliminal messages on wikipedia :P
would you say The Wall is worth its own category/page thingy?

It's the band's own visual interpretation of their music, so I'm sure you can whip a page out of that.

i have to ask: do you actually listen to the carmina burana, or do you tell people you do? ive known too many people who like to act "totally fucking pretentious" by saying they listen to this classic work, or this renaissance work...
...but often, theyve either heard them once, or learned about it in a class.

I listen to it, I have the whole album on my computer and mp3 player. I can't say I'm listening to it right now, but I do own it. It's 26 tracks as conducted by Eugene Ormandy, and for some reason my computer named them all the same thing, which is really irritating.

then youre officially on the list of cool kids. i dont make a regular habit of listening to it, but then again, i dont tell people i do. mostly, ive been on a "belle and sebastian" or "of montreal" kick...
as for classics, ive been listening to some 12-tone work and some weber (especially his operas).
