yeah, sorry about that didnt mean to start a fuckin revolution!
HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!
yeah, sorry about that didnt mean to start a fuckin revolution!
I'll wait a time before wasting Tom's time asking him to change my sig.
On another thing, isn't it weird that he said that it was needed that at least two people on the PO3 team have awards, but the list is filled with 09 users that "Still haven't contributed anything to the site"?

yeah they are there as underdogs and gambling chips. But the problem is there were so many gambling chips that he had to have a cutoff at some point. theres only SO many good programmers/artistst/audio people who arent working on stuff ya know.

I dunno if you guys saw this link last night, but this is quite possibly the most offensive website directed at children. Ever.

I think realistically speaking, everyones kinda in the excitement of getting on a team and stuff and not realizing the amount of effort and time you are commiting by doing so. So alot of the noob users in the project might not know what they are getting themselves into. I mean 3 months is not alot of time, particularly if you dont have stuff to your name. I think its cool to include a few newbies for the sake of having em suprise everyone maybe. But yea i think you had to cut it off somewhere. We could go all summer just picking teams.

"Jesus wants us to be hot for Him, not lukewarm"
that's gotta be the funniest thing a catholic site can ever say unintentionally.

This one's intentional, yet hilarious.
"Occultic forces move among us. I know this because I have battled them.
Whether it be the challenge of exorcising demonic possessions or simply the act of shooing away a gaggle of neighborhood Druids eyeing my cat, Milton, with perverse hunger, I have answered the Lord's call to engage in Spiritual Warfare against Satan's minions, and my answer is: "Bring it on!"

Oh my god, that was hilariously offensive. I hope that this is some sort of elaborate joke.
There was a damn load of cigs together at one time, I found it funny.
It's true, I can see a lot of people who don't know how much work they'll have to put into their character sprites. There's also a shit load of guys pretending to be things they're not, or getting into several projects (one of those is a lovely mexican guy I've seen) although it's hard that they can even make quality sprites for at least one, still, I can see this is going to be a great event, and it's for helping charity, I'm pretty sure that JAZZA would've joined the first day.
I'm just gonna work 2 or 3 hours per day (5 or 6 on days that I don't have school, living in South America makes my summer vacations be ob December) and try to seriously give it all I've got.

Well, If I was Tom I would probably just make it so that the ones that really participated in the contest are the actual contestants. The ones that aren't so good, atleast let them do something.
I figure if I sporadically pop in people might confuse me with someone important
hai peeps
impendingriot reccomended this be a good place to post so ill start here:
LOOKING FOR A POWER OF 3 PROGRAMMER:
i wish to do the art for a game for the power of three event, and we already have a musician lined up, a good friend of mine who is currently a high honors at berkley collage of music.
we do have game ideas but we think it might be fair to discuss these ideas and any ideas our programmer might have as well (if you do not have an idea of what to do fear not, we have plenty to work with)
we can both agree that we are looking for someone who will take this seriously and has the backup and know how of coding a game.
we are ok with the idea this will be youre first game? just be able to back up your threat of rocking the house ;)
so...any takers?

Regarding the PO3 collabs, it isn't game over that some teams will not be approved.
It really should be stressed that, although some people will not be in the official lineup, they are still more than welcome to start/join a team, and make an awesome game.
That's how it always is, and people shouldn't forget that. Even though the team isn't 'official', it can still submit a great piece to the portal, make some money, get some fame, whatever. I would hate to see teams that are already lined up, have a great idea set out, and have started on the animating/programming/musicing to just stop and fall apart.
Perhaps I'll put that in my sig.
Which is not a cig

That was miles ago :P He was really cool about booting the guy squatting my name so I could drop the underscores, anyway. I've got my shiny, high-demmand name now :D

So i know Liam suggested this a few pages ago and it was a neat idea if it werent for the fact that spotify or whatever isnt available in the US.
SO i thought itd be cool if we made a reg lounge last.fm account or something and people can just start dumping tags and shit into it. It would be cool to have a radio station to listen to at work based on music you guys think is good. I feel like I'm stuck in my own bubble...
It could totally fail but meh. Someone should go make one and report back here.

That seems like a problem for here.
Seriously though, what made you feel that?

i have no idea. almost all of the time i don't really think this way. most of the time my thinking goes along like this:
"this next movie's gonna be awesome"
"i can totally get front page if i try a little harder!"
"i'm probably gonna be the top of my animation class, considering i'm the one with the most experience"
"i can totally animate this"
etc etc.
but the thing is, last night i was thinking about some animation i did that i didn't put too much effort into, and then i though: "that wasn't very good right there. the drawings were a little crappy and the animation was horrible, and the problem is, you aren't able to dig up the effort to make anything better."
and it's the truth. i think i'm gonna stay mediocre until i can finally actually put some effort into my animations, because that's what's been holding me down.

You wine too much fluff. get off your ass and get animating.
