If I knew all these people then I'd probably be like hi, but I don't so, yeah.

I've been here four years and have never understood their niche.

I'm not saying anything against it but you can't deny it.
I wish there was a way to view the reviews that most people found useful on your own submissions. Its really annoying that there isnt, or am I being blind?

Yeah, but generally that isn't too helpful either. Most of time its just people agreeing that its awesome or whatnot. Generally, I'd just look for reviews by more popular flash people, they's tend to be pretty useful.

yeah i guess youre right there... its just annoying trawling through 400 reviews when it would be really simple to add a little feature like that! You get some really good reviews on Newgrounds compared to a lot of sites, although for every great one you get 10 useless ones.
Not that im complaining about having a lot of reviews, or their content at all, I always appreciate when someone takes the time to tell me what they think of something ive made, even if they fucking hate it :)
What does is take to be successful in business?

Immunity to the recession. And making your product known/advertised.
There are so many crap things people buy because of the marketing the products get. In some cases packaging and aesthetical appeal is pretty much everything - such as with Easter eggs.
Oh man.. oh... oh yeah like that!
I'm gunna level up! O;>

An expansive, unrelenting capacity for bullshitting.

Infinite bags of money.
Or the will to do well and the determination to drive that will to a victory that pushes the boundaries of todays world and reinvents reality as we know it.

What business has done that?!
Microsoft maybe but still...
I've been away way too long... what's this whole medal thing? Is there a page summarising it so I don't have to waste everyone's time...
Also a bullet shooting through the whole earth would melt from all the friction wouldn't it? Or at least from the really really really hot caramel center.

Caramel, waffle mix, and liquid smoke.
Liquid smoke is the best topping for ice-cream
I hate my desparate attempts for trying to make the lounge a bit less about programming, but here goes nothing.
Has anybody else noticed about Cartoon Network "REAL"? basically, Cartoon Network is planning on a huge sellout and going to be a Disney wannabe. They are already going to start airing shows like Drake n Josh, iCarly and all that bullshit, god, I fucking hate it, we really should tell them what we think. How the hell is the animation industry going to go any further without channels like CN?
Cartoon Network has always been my childhood (ever since Nickelodeon and Disney died at least) it is truly undignifying to see bullshit like this is happening to CN, I really can't believe it. Also, if you dare, look at the new logo design.
Eww, right?

I ran a pretty big business as it's general manager for 5 years. (60+ employees, international business, R&D, marketing, wholesaling, the whole 9 yards)
The following are needed:
Patience.
Communication Skills. Horribly, horribly important.
Determination.
The ability to listen to other people's opinions/ideas and analyze them fairly. (See communication)
Keeping happy employees.
Sacrifice (Of time and money, especially dedicating a large part of your life to making it work)
