Newer versions of Flash player screws up my old game..?
I just today realized that I hadn't uploaded my game Battle Tank to Kongregate, so I did. But then I got complaints about the game glitching apart after the first mission, I could barely believe it as it has always worked before, but sure enough there was no way to continue after the first mission: the screen flashed in a couple of different colors and that was that.
First I thought it had something to do with Kongregate, but then I tried out the game both here on NG and on MaxGames and it was the same thing although I know for sure that those two versions of the game used to work just fine. So the only possible reason for this that I can come up with is that it has something to do with the flash player versions.. Any thoughts? :/

I don't know why it would cause problems, but I'm pretty sure the same thing caused a glitch in gogo happy and smile, where in the beginning you fall through the ground if you don't move. I'm 75% sure that's new, and caused by the flash player. Again though, I don't know why that would be happening. What version of flash did you program it in?

It's made with AS2 and for Flash player 8.. I just now tried exporting it again for Flash player 10, but still the same thing.
I might have to go in and mess around with the code that's being executed when the glitch appear, I sure ain't motivated to dig in my old and messy AS2 code though :(
