You probably already said it and I missed it, but why don't you just pick up an artist like luis or mindchamber or someone to that effect and make something epic like Portal Defenders and NG Rumble? Why would you take a tertiary position?
Also, I think a platformer that competes with FPA is in order. Would be interesting to see how that would end up.

I don't feel like pulling a game by myself. Mostly lazy, and I've got other programming-related interests to take my time with.
I've actually got a programming language in mind which I'm about ready to implement, which should help with my unwillingness to do manual programming.

We could do that. Luca is slowly working on his Tau'ri sequel which should be quite awesome if he keeps at it, but that'll take forever.

No. I'm a pansy carebear who's not hardcore enough for Darkfall. That and I've already annoyed my buddy in Goonswarm by not deciding to continue playing EVE, so I'm staying off MMOs for a while.

If you say Flash is more suitable for the incompetents we see around here then you'd have a point, but I think that the web scene is getting more organized (as in teams) so it's not at all impossible for games like that to become common.
Flash is easy to use, which is why there's so much of it everywhere. If Unity gets more popular I can definitely see some big games (similar to Quake Live) but for general game development I can't see it ever overcoming flash. Maybe if Adobe bought it and marketed it a lot.. it could happen, but I doubt it.

So I'm goin' to be spendin' roughly 4 - 5 grand on turnin' my moms garage into a small lil' home for myself. Bedroom, living room, kitchen, and even a bathroom. It's fully possible and I'd only be payin' $400 a month for it so it's a lot cheaper then most places in my parts. So by sometime after next summer I'll be moved out of my room and into the garage. lol A home right next to my old home. Haha.
It's goin' to be nice havin' my own mini-place to pimp out and have to myself for parties and work. It'll make a great place to film junk too.

Well, remember -- you're paying to renovate it. If you move into another home, you won't have to do that bullshit. Also, you'll be living in a garage... not even an actual nice home. Mom does nothing with the garage. Plus part of the house goes into my name. I'm getting my fathers inheritance this month and I plan on investing 4-5 grand into real estate. It'll be nice. A place to myself. It solves my problem of figurein' out where I'm goin' to be livin' the next few handful of years. The inheritance solves my money problems. Now all I need to worry about is findin' a decent job. I'm goin' to be takin' a sysmester of University to go job hunting. Also maybe throw in a even more effort into The Duders to see if that can start generating some profite for me.

Aww... as Greg-Brady-bedroom-in-the-attic-ly awesome as that sounds... isn't it kind of a waste of money? Why not put it towards fixing up the actual house? (I don't know how things work in Chilliwack, but here we get a tax break on that kind of stuff.) Or better yet, get a trailer home. That way you can hitch it to your wagon and take it with you later on.
Well part of the deal is if I ever move out I can ask my mom for the 4 - 5 grand I spend on it. So when I do eventually move out of it one day I can get my money back and start all over again, but with an actual house... or trialer.
