I knew of Adam Phillips, not personally, but knew him for years before I came here, and i saw his 3:33 animation, and yes, it was good, but do you think it was worth 4.20 points? Like if anyone else made it, maybe it would have got 3.60 tops.

Im not complaining to Adam, or trying to start things, I like all adam phillips works, but do you see what I mean? Well, it was a good movie, but not as good as made out, anyway, 'nuff of my stupid ravings :)

I just saw something sick on BBC news. It was about Afganistan, and these kids who's dads had died in the fighting. They all had to go out and make money for the family and be the only bread winners.

Then, the very last shot of the whole thing was these kids picking up rubble in the street into black bin bags, and this kid had a chicago bulls jacket on.

Yep, thats exactly what happens. Its just the personality of the portal and its audience. Nothing Adam can do about it nor is it his fault people do it, so I mean you just gotta know its the nature of the beast.

3:33 is basically the best screamer ever, but it's still just a screamer really. He did like 30 shorts over a month and he could have submitted them all, one by one but he didnt. I dont think he is abusing his immense reputation here on NG so I cant be pissed off at him. I think a lot of people voting will vote either 0 or 5 and basically something by Adam Philips is gonna get an automatic 5 from most people, even before watching. It's not the biggest deal in the world, it's just life.

I agree its not the biggest deal ever, and I vote using the whole panbel, not just a blam or a protect. Well, He will submit them all, but over time I would say, and I dont think hes abusing his popularity, I think some users just love him way too much!

I dunno, I thought 3:33AM was pretty clever in the way it used sound. There was a sort of quiet, eerie background noise which you had to turn up your speakers to hear clearly, then BAM! Blasted ear drums all round!

Just to grasp how many units sold opening day... here's some numbers. Notice, I went to these stores anywhere from opening til about an hour after they opened.

Wal-Mart 30 units
Best buy 127 units
Target 40 units
EB games 10 units
GameStop 15 units
Sears 8 units
ToysRus 120 units
FYE 15 units

365 units... Less than an hour... all gone.

All promised more shipments of the Wii within a week, and did state that they don't have a prayer of getting anymore PS3s.

And I got Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess including the Wii Sports game which was included with purchase of the Wii console.

The thing that sucks is that my mother is making me wait to open it since it's a stupid christmas present.

Besides, The thing that makes the PS3 so expensive is the Blue-Ray DVD Reading device.
It's for High-Definition TV's so if you don't have one than it can't be used.

It's basically a advanced DVD Player in which makes the movies better quality; But here's the catch, you have to buy the other version of the DVD to work with it which is around $30-40.

Pretty stupid, since they didn't make a different version without the Blue-Ray reading DVD device. That's the main expensive part. Heh.

Blue-Ray isn't just for HD tv, it's a higher storage capacity disk, several times the storage capacity of a DVD. It's good for games so that they can pack more data onto a single disk.
