There's a lot of safeguards in place. It worked fine in Oregon, and there's virtually no chance for someone who isn't ready to die being able to choose this option because of the procedures and safeguards in place to request the lethal prescription.
And it's a scary thing when dead is an asset to the government.
Especially in the medical field.
How is it an asset to the government? All this does is let terminally ill patients request lethal prescriptions. The government doesn't decide when people get to die... and that's what this bill is for. If we have a right to life we should have a right to death.
