Top 2000 based on Experience points. Senti already said that. But also it's not just who is in the top 2000 it is who is in the top 2000 active that month by experience. I don't know how to word it right, but basically top 2000 ranked by exp but say if the person ranked 2000 was not active all month the person ranked 2001 by exp would be included.

You can also get in if your submission is on the ballot, which is achieved by getting front paged or a daily award during the month.

Five cups of coffee and four hours later I finally finish a 1700 word Philosophy essay on spousal assault...
I'm glad it's done but I am not a coffee person and do not enjoy the caffine high at all. Sure I'm hyper and can focus easier - but with everything so fast I feel dizzy and out of place. Kind of sucks that my dealer is sick today. Also I had the most intense 3 hours of my life the day before the 31st of October aka Samhain aka Halloween - the insanity I put myself through was undescribable. My head was a vast prison; an empty eggshell where my mind swam about in my thoughts.

Anyway yeah... I remember some of ya talkin' 'bout how coffee and energy drinks help ya get flash and junk done too. I'll be cranking up my work hours soon and adding a lot of coffee to the mix since it's easily attained. I must get at least one decent project done this month. If I have to push myself then I have to push myself.

I hate coffee... my doctor has told me straight out that I shouldn't have a lot of sugar as it tends me make me "bounce off the walls". I totally loaded my coffee with sugar - I've been await for not even 6 hours and I'm heads been racing all day.

I forgot what I was thinking about... maybe their was a point... maybe their wasn't...
Oh right... I don't like coffee much but I can see how it can help ya get work done. I honestly didn't think I'd get the essay done and I plowed through it. I'm hoping I have the same results with a simular experiment tomorrow when I drink a lot of coffee again and see how much animating I can get done.

The most animation I've ever done is when I drank 4 Rockstar energy drinks and animated for a solid 11 hours. Working normally I work only 2-4 hours.

Ever notice that I look at my own mind and self as a subject for experimentation?
How much can I animate after drinking 5 cups of strong coffee? Wish me luck.

All my visitations to the reg lounge will remain small as a means to ensure more free time which will be forced into work time.

Uuuh... I hate how I work on my Flash.

I'll open up Flash, open up the current project (usually a game). I'll start off by coding some small part, maybe something quite trivial etc.. I'll work for 10-15 minutes (maybe half an hour sometimes..) and I'll open up Firefox for no real reason. It's just like a habit. Then I start browsing through the internet, and 45 minutes later I'll remember: "Oh wait, I have a game I need to work on..", close Firefox, repeat..

Sigh.. short attention span :(

I do the same thing alot. Thankfully my internet gets disabled easily so whenever my firefox reflex does kick in, I get tired of the loading and keep on coding.

Do coders get in slumps anyway? Like there are times when I can't draw anything I like or come up with a good concept or figure out good subject matter for a drawing, do coders get an equivalent?
