5 hour energy still gives you a crash despite what they say.
The only real way to get a lot of energy is to eat a lot of carbs for breakfast/lunch. Granola and spaghetti is good for that.

Anyone seen that kronenboug ad, where they are cutting up the bubbles, that sort of ads great, funny, but it still conveys the message. I guess they cant just say DRINK LOTS OF ALCOHOL in their ads though :P. I've seem some of the billy mays stuff you have over the states, he's the US equivalent Barry Scott :D.

I've had three in an hour, though I didn't make any more after that. Since espressos are so small, not much really happened.

My friend at work once had a quadruple espresso, while still coming down from 2 "Rockstar" energy drinks, then he had some pure milkshake syrup (which is incredibly high in sugar). He was incredibly energetic. The pure syrup from the milkshake machine (at McDonalds, which you get from pulling the handle down only a tiny bit so the proper mechanism doesn't kick in) tastes like cold shit but it makes you kinda explode with energy for a few seconds.. having half a cup of it is crazy fun.

In my opinion, that was amazing. The button design may have been the best I've ever seen, the physics were just great, great enemy design ETC.

Bugs and the level progression mainly (which is why it starts at level 4 right now because the first levels are easy). Which levels are too long or too hard or easy etc cause it takes way long to play through it myself repeatedly.

*Cough*Kiss ass*Cough* :P. But it was good, i agree with what liams said though, there are too many enemies at the start, and the amount of stuff onscreen is slightly overwhelming. Still a very nice game, great effects/ai etc, but it's a bit of a steep learning curve. Your first game :D.

Still too hard. You shouldn't have a constant enemy stream, but have a total enemy amount per wave and have them come only if there are under x enemies on the screen already.
I wish there was more of an objective than race around and shoot, and i can't help but feel the game would be easier with mouse directional shooting or at least multidirectional shooting that is seperate of the rotation of the ship. (eg WASD to move and Arrows to shoot in the arrow direction).
It works great though, no bugs. I also love pausing the game before I die, cuz theres so much cool shit on stage at any one given moment.

Better :). That's about right for me. Why not have seperate difficulty levels? Then everyones happy. Also, the free tips need a bit of work. One told me that "The point of the game is to score points." :P. All the effects look great, especially the trail, a very nice, suitable art style, looks great.

Firstly, I really like the graphics; I find them pretty suiting for the game style. Secondly is that I like the game a lot and you've done a great job in maximizing it without any lag, but I personally think you could have done much better Gust. We all know your coding capabilities, but you haven't particularly set it up to your par I don't think. You could still do much more with it in my opinion, especially because I thought you have been mentioning this game for a good month or two.

I'm workin' on ep2 of my series and just felt like asking your opinions on the series itself (you can be brutally honest - say it like it is). I just want to make sure any annoying quirks about The Duders I fix or improve so ep2 is as good as I can make it.
Also, I think I saw of pic of Swain screamin' in it once I think- its like this big round mic. I think its time I get a better mic, especially since my current one it falling apart. Just wanted to ask advice on a good mic - plus that one looks neat.

I think I'm addicted to NG. Anyone else sometimes just keep the frontpage open and refresh it every 15 mins for the entire night for reasons you don't know? I spend a ton of time here and usually I'm just starring at a page or reading through the flash reg lounge or more often lately the art forum.

Me too. Somehow I always manage to just sit on the Flash page and refresh every 5 minutes and between the time when theres nothing to do and the time I refresh, I just stare.
i just had to write a giant document detailing a game I have to make in 4 weeks for school... and like seriously, i could have finished the game in the time it took me to write the document.
