I can't quite hate on him quite yet, given that he gave nearly half a million dollars to stem cell research, as well as pockets of donations scattered everywhere through medical research.
Hi there!

And his 'From Kong to Frodo in under a year!' Work out video.
I seriously am having issues with the PS3 right now.

Why? It's not the console's fault people are idiots.

But is it Sony's for releasing 150 k of them in the US after promising at least 400k, and even more before that?

It's those lousy factory workers fault!
But, hey, at least you've got some. It's not due for release here to March next year.

The Hobbit's the sort of thing that'd be a lot better if it was done independant from the existing LOTR films. It's a lot less dark and more fantasy - type. It'll be good if it doesn't try to adopt quite the same style as the other LOTR films, but if they try to make it as sort of a rehash of the success (and money) of the trilogy then it could all just go tits up.

Maybe a little, but in the 'very good if not quite Jesus' sense rather than the 'total shit which people like for some reason' sense. The fact that he can't quite turn water into wine like people seem to think by no means that his stuff doesn't rock.

Jesus titty fucking christ. I could buy half a house with that money. Or pay for my entire college. What kind of idiot would offer that much? Gawd.

All of the old school philosophers were using methods to generate one outcome: Proof of God.
Every single one of the philophers had huge flaws in their theories that they simply overlooked.
Yay! PS3s are going for 10k! I'm getting a new digital drum set!
Some people, like my friend jim... are keeping his. What a moron. Why would you want the console that damned bad. I want the money.

Hey I've got a random question ^_^
I made a video (no, shut it pervs). The thing is, the video is around 3 minutes and is freaking 658 megabytes in filesize. WTF. I know it's probably my webcam's fault, it contains mostly audio too. Does anyone here know any way to compress the video filesize? I wanna submit to youTube. >_<

If you took the exported video file, of course it's going to be huge. Chances are it's the full, uncompressed, frame for frame affair. Just port it into Windows Movie Maker or some other video software and export it as a lower quality.

Sir, I can't possibly express my affection towards you in this post. <3

SECKS!?
i have come to the conclusion that after holloween is the best time of year to submit a movie.

What's the significance here?
for the past week or so, there have been very very low scoring top 5 movies. in this case, the best of the day was 3.87, which on normal days would get 4'th or 5'th, and the lowest has a score of 3.27, which i for one have never seen in me entire stay at newgrounds.

that's just rediculous :\
either the legion of aoutoblammers is getting bigger, or the overall quality of flash artists is getting lower and lower.
or a combination of both >.<

...or everyone blew their load on their Halloween submission.
This sig is 100% effective protection from all hexes, curses, evil spirits and bad karma. Guaranteed.

thats what i was refering to. after holloween is a good time to submit. has nothing to do with lowering quality or anything.
I noticed that too! It makes me wish I knew about it beforehand somehow, but now next year EVERYONE will submit their flashes after halloween that saw these scores so it won't matter ;_;
lol
Well, at least I noticed.

That sounds a little dramatic. The portal just has ups and downs. We aren't a robotic community producing daily turnouts of exactly consistent quality. As people said, Halloween does play a factor, as many people have just finished their big projects.
I love the PS3. The more people buy those the more of a chance there is for me to get a wii before it's sold out.
Actionscripting is NOT like riding a bike AT ALL.
I just started working on a game that I've devised up. Now, I'm not telling you the concept, but when I thought it up I had a pretty good idea on what code I'd have to use and junk like that. The thing is, due to me not touching anything actionscript-related since around March, I've completely forgotten everything that I've ever learned...
Just a warning in case you decide to take a looooong break from actionscript :)

Not entirely. Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony own 100% of the market, making the market an oligopoly. Because of this, there is a window of optimal profit. Although it is possible that Sony has made a wise move and is merely producing the least amount of output while staying in the profit maximizing range, it is also just as likely that they intended to produce more, and are aware of this problem. Because the less supply for more demand = more $$$ only works to a certain point. There is a point where the buyers will forget about the product and buy something else instead, like a Wii or a 360. And I think $10,000 is a tiny bit too high of a price to rake in high sales.
Note in the comic that the same little green guys in line for the 'ps3' were buying 'wiis' at the end.

thats not always true, i think, in this case, if they were to sell more, they would make more money in the long run, because by time the second units get out it'll be Christmas so they'll be sold for even less. and they're already losing $2-300 per unit because they decided to give more power then a stealth bomber, which they don't seem to be using the full capacity of anyways

I'm normaly not a big fan of the Simpsons, but it's refreshing to see a 2d movie coming out. Although, during the big primere of the Trailer for the Simpsons, they bragged how it wasnt 3d, but in the first scene Homer was clearly riding a rotoscoped/traced 3d vehicle, that was kind of funny...
Yeah i noticed that too but is it still hand drawn for the movie or have they moved on to other methods now cause i have noticed the simpsons using a lot of special effects in the show that couldn't be hand drawn
