8 BITS = 1 BYTE So a 20MBIT connection, is actually only a 2.5MBYTE connection, so your maximum download will be 2.5mbyte a second, not 6mbytePS. :)
So you're saying the connection at my work is 48mb? I said 20mb because that is the largest available in the UK, and it's definitely megabytes not megabits. The reason the download speed isn't 20mb a second is because the connection from the user (i.e., the McDonalds I work at) and the server things is shared by others in the local area.. I can't remember the exact explanation, but it's not megabits.

Programming
I suggest learning C++ because it's a structured OOP language and thus knowledge of it can be applied to other OOP languages, including AS, JS, Java, PHP, etc. Knowledge of one helps with the others a lot, I've found. However, colleges never use C++. We were forced to learn BASIC at my college :/ Take it from me, Computing sucks :P

It's called Linux -_-
Ubuntu for the win :P If only there was as much commercial support for Linux as there is for Windows and Mac.. it's unbelievable how much Linux is used in business, not just for backend stuff but a lot of movies special effects were done in Linux. I'm sure a Linux port of CS3 would be welcome with open arms by the development community.
